Poured a golden yellow colour with a very small head that disappeared pretty quickly with minimal lacing. Smells clean and fresh. It has quite a sweet malty flavour with a little hop. Goes down very easily. Very refreshing crisp beer that would be a great summertime beer.

12oz. bottle poured into pint glass. Reviewed from brief notes.

A: Pristine golden color with a slightly off-white head that fades quickly to a foamy cap. A few wisps of lace linger along the sides of the glass.

S: A bit earthy with a lot of grainy aromas. Some bready malts as well. Weak hops beg for attention, but never quite take the lead.

T: Bready malts up front, with a bit of sweetness. A light hop bitterness underneath. Finishes strange and slightly metallic.

M: Fairly light, but heavier than the average BMC offering. Crisp and invigorating carbonation. Finishes slightly dry.

O: Definitely a drinkable beverage, but not one I'd visit solely for enjoyment. This is best paired with food and outdoor activities. Served its purpose well at a BBQ after a long day of work.

Purchased at the LCBO 500ml can for just under $3.00. Served at 6deg C in a draught glass

A- Opens well and pours like a North American beer. Not much else to say

S- Not much there at all. Almost North American

T- Pretty good. Always liked the European hops and bite. Light yet robust flavored

M- Nice and creamy for a pilsner

O- Pretty good. Always enjoyed Urquell. Nice light airy bite to it

Food Pairing

This wonderful little pilsner goes well with... Lamb and rice mixed with cinnamon and salt

Enjoy!
