This beer reminded me of Heineken, but minus the after taste. Very smooth big fan of this beer.

A true standard by which to compare future Pilsners. Delicious. Crisp. Last sip leaves me wanting more.

I've had the bottle and just recently I had the draft. It almost seems like 2 different beers. Unlike the bottle, the draft is served with a good head on it. The entry tones are a little different, but the finish it's the same. I still like this bad boy and couldn't believe the draft version would be so different. If it's available in your area, give it a shot.

Bottle poured into snifter

Golden yellow clear liquid, tiny streams of carbonation, one finger white foam cap settles into a layer of tiny white bubbles

Aroma of sweet malt, bread

First sip is has an almost sour bitterness on the sides of the tongue, malty but not hoppy

Lingering bitterness on the aftertaste, almost metallic

A classic style , good not great

A little musky. Maybe the one I opened drank was different but I found it very flat.

The original pilsen style. Although still known as a "12 degree" beer in the Czech Republic, careful inspection of brewing information reveals it is something closer to a "11.5 degree" beer--though it would be difficult to find a local who would tell you this. I used to work with one of the marketing managers here in Prague....

Clear gold to orange with a good head which recedes fast and leaves nice lacing.

The smell is one of fruity hops and grain. Subtle but clean.

Slightly sweet malts and much hoppier than expected. The hops remind me of those from American Ales and Ipas more than the typical Pils. The taste is not complicated but well balanced.

Light body with a lot of bitterness and dry finish.

Not my first one but i did actually expected less from it if looking at some reviews. It is not a complex beer and you can feel a kind of artificiality to it but still didn´t found any real flaws at all. The path to mass production doesn´t seem to be that dramatic and i could drink this beer any day.
