My sister lives about a mile from this place, so last Sunday, 8/16, we decided to check it out with her fiance, my cousin and his friend.
There is a Lamppost to the right, walking in the brewpub area is a bit cramped, with a mild smell of smoke since they didn't close the door to the patio. Back behind the fermenters it wasn't too bad, causes a dip in the atmosphere score.
The beers that I have had so far from them have been quite good. This day I had the always interesting Slow Ride, a Tye Dye Rye, and brown which I don't remember the name of. In addition to their brewpub beers, they have a lot of the usual suspects - Guinness, Bud Light, and Lindeman's Framboise. Pint's are quite cheap, about tree fity.
The selection is good, for the summertime - typical brewpub styles - hefe, brown, blonde, though they had some more unusual stuff such as the Berliner Weisse, Rye, Belgian Pale, and a Saison-type beer.
The food is tasty and you get a lot for the money. We got cheesy breadsticks and a pizza, both were nice.
A well above average brewpub in the middle of South County found this BA quite pleased. Well worth a visit if you're in the Mission Viejo/Capo area.

Been here a couple times now and probably will go back a couple times more.
You can never go wrong with Lampost Pizza. They always have really good pizza. That's why I'm glad it's attached to one. There are a bunch of screens to watch your fav sport on an staff is always friendly. Seems most people come here locally for the sports and good pizza and beer.
They always make beers that are pretty tasty. Some are just ok but I have yet to have one I really didn't like.
I would say you really need to seek this place out though but if your in the area I would stop and have some pizza and beer and watch some sports for sure.

Completely different atmosphere from the Irvine Backstreet I normally frequent.
Still outdoor patio area available for those wishing sunshine or cigarettes.
Brewery/bar area is totally seperate from the pizza part of the building so that you don't even realize it is there. Smaller and more intimate than Irvine.
Selection very nice with their own 8 - 12 brews including 2 seasonals and a few guest taps as well.
Food is basic pizza fare, but I didn't go there to eat.
If you're ever in the area, stop by...you won't regret it.
