This is a pretty cool BJ's. I've been to a few other ones around the city and this one just seems to be in the heart of all the action...There is a movie theater right up the road so dinner and a movie is very possible to achieve...They also still have all of the BJs brews which are a treat every time I go there... My waiter here knew which beers of theirs to pair with food which was really cool....The only issue I had was finding the dang place!!! If you pass it up when driving East on 1960 past 249, you have to U-turn and go back passes 249 and U-turn again. Which is nearly impossible during rush hour!!!

I went to the Woodlands location, and frankly wasn't really impressed. There was a bit of a wait but being that its The Woodlands that's too be expected anyways.

Our server was knowledgeable and good with kids but fairly inattentive. The food selection was great but very hard to decide on, some of which was dictated by price alone. Not a normal family eatery. They do however make their own soda in house, and that's always a treat for kids.

BJ's also has their own brews. Which i tasted their Irish Red i believe, it wasn't bad but not impressive. I know for a fact that at least of some their beer is made for them by a local brewery, dont know if I can state which one so i wont.

It was pricey, loud, the food was good but left a little more to be desired. Its so busy that the servers cant seem to keep up that well. The food alone would have me coming back, if there is such a thing as a slower time to go.

This is a very good place to have a beer. It has a chain like atmosphere, but still fun with good service. The food was just average, I have only been there a couple of times, so maybe there are better things to eat. I had a very average burger and ribs the two times I eat there.

Anyway, on to the beer. BJ's selection runs from a kolsh to stout. Without getting into in-depth reviews, I was not disapointed with any style. Though they are all safe and standard. A nice Irish red and stout. The pale ale was more of an ipa, all hops and not much balance with the malt. The porter was a little watery, but good. The kolsh and wheat were typical of the style. All and all, a fun place that I would recommend. Though a bit standard.

This isn't the easiest place to find on 1960. A u turn after passing it I made it to the restaurant. It seems like a pretty popular place as the place was packed the night my wife and I went. There was a 45 minute wait which wasn't a big deal as they were pretty busy. We got our first beers from the bar for the wait I got the red and my wife got the hefe. BJ's contracts their brewing with Saint Arnolds which is too bad because that hefe was pretty good I'd buy it at the store if Saint Arnold would bottle it but its only at BJ's. After a wait of about 30 minutes we got sat at our table which I thought was decent with the crowd there. For dinner I ordered a Cajun shrimp pasta dish that was very good and it was a big serving as well. I also ordered their beer sampler that comes with four of their beers. One of the beers on it was their red that I got before dinner started so I asked if I could have the red substituted with the brown and that was no problem. The beers are either good or unimpressive the blond and porter were just ok beers while the red, brown, apa, and hefe were pretty damn good. While this location isn't actually a brew on premise brewpub the beer is their recipe and they make some good food. All in all if you want some good beer and good food check the place out.

I've been to this location and nothing really stands out that would make this a favorite hang out. They have several big screens by the bar to watch sports, but there is nothing unique about the restaurant or bar.

I've found the food and beer selection to be quite average. The house brews are decent, but i have yet to sample anything that was really outstanding.

Also, the selection other than the house beers is pretty small and the waitstaff didn't seem very knowledgeable about beer. There are better places in town to visit.

Visited here in June. Great location with a movie theater nearby if I recall. Nice place, good parking and seemed very busy both times I visited. Beers were good for a commercialized brewery. Visited other locations in Chandler and Scottsdale, AZ that were smaller and less busy but this was a good place. No complaints at all. Walk in the bar is ahead up steps to the right, seating area is ahead and off to the left extending to back. I recommened this place to some family who had no idea what beer was outside of Bud and they liked it too.
