Served from a 22 oz. bottle into a Stone IRS tuplip
A - Hazy amber, thick head that dissipates quickly with some decent albeit spotty lacing.
S - Not as heavy on the nose as you'd expect from a beer called "Hop Juice". Sweet, sticky citrus hops dominate.
T - This is where the beer lives up to its billing. Hops, hops, and more hops with a slight bit of sweet malts to round it out on the finish. A sticky grapefruit and floral flavor dominates throughout.
M - Thinner than anticipated, but good. Lingers and leaves a little dryness on the palate.
Overall - Good beer, a lot of the alcohol is masked by the massive hops. Would drink again, but not anytime soon.
