Good robust flavor for an AIPA. I was surprised it rate so low. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a big white head and plentiful bands of lacing on the glass. Head retention is good.
Aroma is mostly piney hops and some caramel malt. Good strong aroma.
Taste is good as well. There is a little citrus and floral presence to go along with the piney hops. The caramel malt is prominent in the flavor as well as the fragrance. The taste is solid, representative of a good AIPA.
Mouthfeel is crisp and nicely bitter.
Overall a very worthwhile IPA.
