Pours hazed copper with a head that becomes wispy. Some lacing sticks.

The smell is resiny and citric - orange, lemon/lime, grapefruit. Plenty hoppy with carmelized malt backing it up.

The taste is of bitter hops (the chinook especially stands out)- pine and tobacco with citric fruits that soon becomes balanced by a sweet malt backing. Caramel and toffee from the malt stands out but allows the hops to be forward. Bitter, backed by sweet turning to a bitter bite in the finish. Alcohol is well-integrated.

A nice hoppy, but balanced, tasty IPA!

Most excedingly excellent IPA! Poured at a good temperature with a large, cream colored, foamy, head that settled after a bit, and good lacing. Color is a clear medium amber with some bubble trails. Aroma is more pine resin than citrus, fresh, caramel malt, and alluring. Flavor's like nose, of a strength like a traditional American IPA, good balance between main characteristics, fairly dry. Body/carbonation are perfect for style. Finish is predominantly hop bitter followed by malt, long, and very drinkable. Very well done.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin and spotty lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, grassy hops and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out with sweet flavors of citrus and caramel. Then a decent hops presence comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid IPA to drink for a long time.
