A- Pours an orange-apricot color. With a mildly aggressive pour it had a huge off white that falls to a finger and a half head. Lots of lacing. Somewhat cloudy with some streams of carbonation.
S- Smell is orange pith, a bit of pine, a bit of peach, and some underlying sweetness. Just a wee bit of herbal aroma.
T- immediately sweet orange comes to mind but bitterness takes over, leaving not much else in its way. I appreciate the bitterness that IPAs demonstrate, but this one overtakes the initially delicious fruity flavors. The finish is kind of disappointing. Bitterness with just a hint of pine.
M- Medium weight, maybe a little lighter. Carbonation is assertive. Dry finish.
O- A disappointing beer. Not bad on the nose, but otherwise it is just an ok IPA.

I'm a sucker for a screen-printed bottle.

Perfect clarity on this one. And a damn near perfect amber hue to it. Nose is, odd, to be honest. Almost seems chalky. Flavor is, okay. Kind of tangy sweet in a weird way. Seems like things took a wrong turn somewhere on it. An okay beer, but with the packaging and how good it looks on the pour it's more style of substance unfortunately.

Nice looking beer, orange and slightly hazy, great off-white, slightly orange head that didn't seem to want to go away, and left sticky lacing.

Aroma and taste were very pungently bitter hops, resiny, piney, pine resin, a healthy dose of citrus and citrus peel (lemon, grapefruit), some black pepper and a touch of earthiness. There's actually a fairly bold malt backbone, but it's at least partially masked by the plentiful hops, which are certainly the focus of this beer.

Body is medium and tangy with bitter hops, leaving a warmimg sensation after each sip that makes this one drink and feel more like a double IPA, and more like a higher ABV beer.

I would say if the goal of this beer was to blast the drinker with massive quantities of hops, then mission accomplished. Hop heads should certainly put this one on their list. Overall left coast did a good job on this beer (or is it a hops-beverage with a smidge of malts added?). I would certainly like to have this one again.

A: pale, translucent amber; scant, filmy head; fine sheets of persistent lacing
S: citrus/grapefruit, pine
T: hops, citrus/grapefruit, malt, in that order; pine; stiffly bitter as expected, dry pine finish
M: tangy, biting, light
O: Great example of an IPA, pure flavors
