On tap at Left Coast Brewing Comapny in San Clemente, CA.
Pours a clear copper with a foamy tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, Belgian yeast, and a nail polish remover aroma. Taste is much the same with a citrus zest flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that smells better than it tastes to me.

Very much a caramel beer, but surprisingly bitter. Overall, it's thin, sharp, and overly hopped. The Belgian flavors seem to add even more bitterness to the vegetal and earthy hops. What is this? It seems like a funky "Cascadian" hemp-flavored hop fest with something like a Maibock to add to the sweet confusion.
Handsome appearance in the tall Pilsener glass, with copper color and an admirable foam. Streaming bubbles. I'm always eager to try anything with a Belgian behind the woodshed, but this one is just hits all the wrong notes. The endless medicinal bitter aftertaste makes me want to spit it out. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Olive Tree Market in San Diego.
