Nice lightly sweet, lightly sour tart acidity, very refreshing and has a very natural sort of flavour, One of the best beers that uses fruit that i've tried OUTSIDE BELGIUM. Very well balanced and i as i said before refreshing.

Deep gold color. The bottle states the beer is "spontaneously fermented" but there is no evidence of yeast in the glass, floating in the beer or in the bottom of the bottle. Could it be filtered? Tangy apricot flavor predominates, with a spritzy carbonation. IMHO this beer is cloyingly sweet and cough syrupy with little else to balance things out. This one's definitely not for me.

Part of me is sad to fawn over such a sweet brew. But I must say, I'm a sucker for the cloyingly sweet Melbourn Bros. beers. Dead on apricot flavors, never over the top, but right to the edge. Pricey at $5 a bottle but I have to admit they are worth it. Have a friend who loves cider but dismisses beer, give them this beer.

Maybe the apricot flavor is a little overpowering. I had trouble discerning anything else, but I only had a small sample. It did have the typical lambic sourness and not much bitterness.

I enjoyed the fruitiness of this beer. The malt was in the background but stood up to the apricots to balance the flavors.
