Formerly Angel City Brewery Angeleno IPA
The City of Angels: a big city, filled with big characters who come up with really big ideas. So what happens when you need to create a beer that captures the spirit of LA?
You go big. Angel City IPA: It’s big. It’s bold. It’s got lots of character and it embodies Los Angeles like no other.
A medium-bodied, copper-hued beer brewed with enough hops to satisfy. It’s the perfect treat for the hop inclined.

On-tap at Lucky Devils, Hollywood, CA
A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has some amber hues. No carbonation is visible.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops and caramel malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell, except that there are also hints of tropical fruits. There is a light amount of bitterness and faint hints of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a very good balance between the malts and hops. As such, it is rather drinkable for the style.

Missed on most features; too thin and flavor not to my palate’s preference.

Growler gifted from a buddy for some house-sitting duties while he was in Socal for a concert. Nice golden clear beer, though head could've been more prominent (but consistent with several days old growler). Nose is potent dank, but one dimensional. Taste Follows the nose, enjoyable but needs another dimension. Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. A nice enough WCIPA, but would benefit from another dimension.

As the bottle says, copper color, a little hop haze, and a tan head. Some citrus and pine hop aromas, and a healthy malt component.
The hops are present on the taste, slightly bitter, but this IPA is all about the malt backbone. A nice, old school IPA.

Much better than the rating. Drinking it at Hollywood Studio in Florida. Clear, dark gold, minimal foam and lacing. Mildly bitter hop smell. Taste is slightly bitter hops, little bit of malt presence. Clean, crisp, light bodied, slightly mouth drying, tasty.

Look: semi-clear dark golden to orange with a thick white head
Aroma: grapefruit and floral pine resin
Taste: Grapefruit and pine resin, fairly hoppy. I like it.
Body/Overall: light to medium body

It's a darker ipa, that goes for the bitter taste, unfortunately it's not as complex as certain ipas, it's more about hitting you in the tastebuds than giving you an experience
