Love the selection, the staff and the ability to enjoy a beer and "work" away from the office on a weekday afternoon. The only reason, I don't give it perfect 5's all around is the fact that they are pet friendly. Sorry, I'm just not a pet (dog, cats) person. I get it's West Seattle and everyone has a dog so I live it with in order to have great beer, wi-fi and close to work. Everyone I know loves this place and it's obvious why after you go for beer.

Pretty solid place. Plays the soccer matches, has some neat games to play. Service is fantastic, selection is solid. Lots of cool events from time to time, and great connections with a lot of local brewers. No food, but you can order out. Get some rare/vintage stuff in from time to time. Wish I could make it out more often.

Nice selection. Kind staff. Great outdoor seating. Billiards, TV's, games, opportunities for entertainment. Fun nearby walking. Request hoppiest beer and got Maisels, whatevs, enjoyed it. Delivery of food quite common. Soda overpriced, duh. Neat location with little competition. Bus nearby. Video game store as well.

Nice local community pub- games, good selection and supports dog community. Nice plus! Local brewery competitions supported. Excellent sampler format and knowledgeable staff. No food offered, but can order in locally or bring in food. Nice little outdoor area during warmer days. A nice addition to west Seattle.

Visited Beveridge Place Pub in West Seattle and was pleasantly surprised. They had a nice beer selection (I started off with Deschutes Dissident), and chose to partake in my beverage on their outdoor patio. We arrived shortly after they had just opened, so we had the place to ourselves. The bartender was friendly and seemed knowledgable. The inside seemed nice also, some nice couches and tables, pool tables, etc. Seemed very cozy on the inside and outside.

Would definitely find myself going back to this place again if in the area.

A: Been here alot and really likt it. Relaxed, nice crowd who loves beer. Friendly people. Cozy, couches, tables, decent bar size and a outdoor patio

S: The majority of staff is nice, some know beer and some don't. Never had any service issues. Most tend to be very friendly and talkative.

S: Great selection of brews year round. Always have rotating taps that are amongst the finest. No food is the only downfall but I would order in or go down Cali and hit Elliott Bay for some food.

F: No food but you can bring and order food in

Wow. I'd go so far as to call this an essential location for a Seattle beer trip.

There's an excellent selection of West Coast brews available and a pretty impressive bottle list (Older Viscosity, anyone?) some in different vintages. If that wasn't enough, these guys seriously care about beer. I happened to come on a Thursday during a brewer's event and the featured brewer was Mt. Snipes Brewing from Sunnyside, WA. I'm not calling it the absolute best brewery but they had some great stuff on tap including a Bourbon Barrel aged Porter which was seriously like a delicious vanilla latte of a beer. I haven't been able to travel outside of Seattle and I hadn't seen any of this brewery's stuff inside the city so it was great to be able to try some of these things that you truly can't get anywhere else.

In addition, the atmosphere is just awesome. The first room looks like some old brewing fanatic's personal library with plenty of couches, seating, books, games, etc. They even let you order in food so you can enjoy you preferred scarf material with some great beers. In case you need your sports fix the next room over is kind of like a mini sports bar. I love the separation of the two spaces as it can be annoying trying to enjoy a few beers in between guys trying to get tanked every time the Vikings (don't) score a touchdown.

The selection is good, the prices are great and with events like Samuel Smith serving Sting and Orval autographed beer night, it's hard to not have this around the top of your list for Seattle beer locations.

Stopped in on a Monday afternoon and found out it was happy hour for WA state beers. Not very crowded as expected for 12:30pm, but a few people eating lunch and watching soccer. Lots of tables when you walk in, then a smaller room to the right, then a small outdoor beer garden. Bar area seemed big and spacious. Service was very nice. Our bartender cracked some jokes, let us try a sample, and gave us directions. The beer selection was awesome. A huge array of local WA and NW beers. I went with the Hale's Irish Stout on nitro. All beers from WA were $3, which was a great deal. My wife and I sat out on in the garden and enjoyed the sunshine. The happy hour deal is exceptional, and we could have sat there all day, but our plan was to move on. FYI you can take the free shuttle bus from the water taxi station on Harbor Ave, ride a bit up California Ave, and it drops you right across the street from the pub.

This is a Great Place to begin and end your pub crawl in West Seattle ! (with some limitations)

There are other pubs in the area and Burien which deserve your crawl.

BPP allows you to bring in the best food you like ! The perfect place to pair food and beer. Get "take out" at any restaurant, fast food or grocery and bring it in to eat. A definate plus for BPP.

The NEW BPP is next door, just north, of the old. The owners really invested some good $$$ to make this place comfortable. There is a new outside section next to the pool tables. The whole place is non smoking. You may smoke outside, in front.

The servers are mostly friendly and mostly knowledgeable. However, you stand in a small to long line for a draft beer and then tip them ? Table service should be looked into, maybe by a pvt. waitperson. This would be a great addition and worthy of a good tip.

This is a Great Wine Bar too ! (or so it would appear. I'm not much of a wine drinker) There is an equally fine selection of wines to go with the cheese or meal you bring in.

Some salty snacks are available.

Distance from downtown Seattle is really not that far, especially if you include a pub crawl to other places in the Admiral Junction, Alki Beach and Burien. It's definately closer than Renton, Woodinville or Bellevue.

Happy Hour. (my favorite) from opening to 6 p.m. (open at 3 pm on weekdays and 2 pm on weekends)

Monday, happy hour all day on selected draft beers.

Thursdays (most) are featured brewery nights with cask beer from a local brewery (call for details).

Draft selection doesn't change as much as I'd like, but hey, they need their regular beers that sell to the locals (no domestic non-craft). If you are just visiting or come by ocassionally, it should be fine.

Tell your friends and their friends to come on by and check it out. I have some reservations, but most wouldn't.

A great beer bar way out in West Seattle. My friend and I stopped by after visiting Elliot Bay Brewing, which is just a little way north on the same street.

The bar is divided into two rooms--a front, lounge-like area where the actual bar is and a back room with lots of pool, darts, and TVs. We visited fairly early on a Saturday night (~6 or 7 PM), and the place was packed. The chalkboard menu (the only menu I could find) listed about fifteen different brews, with many from Washington and Oregon. There was nothing too extrordinary on tap, just a very impressive, wide-ranging selection. I had a Full Knot Slipknot Imperial IPA and my friend had Manny's Pale Ale from Georgetown Brewing.

The back room is a lot of fun to hang out in--it's animated with pool players, a few TVs (not too many), free darts, and lots of board games as well. I could easily see myself wiling away too much time in that back room.

Overall, Beveridge Place is another fine Seattle beer bar.
