On tap at Red Car Brewery in Torrance, CA.

Pours a clear orange with a foamy bone colored head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and wheat aromas. Taste is much the same with a fruity flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that is drinkable but fairly boring.

Draft, consumed at brewery on 01/07/08.

Slightly cloudy medium yellow. Good head.

Wheat aroma and flavor. Somewhat dry and bitter in the aftertaste. I like German and Belgian wheats, but Americans (like this one) just leave me missing the cloves and bananas,

A: Darker than a normal American wheat, sort of a pumpkin orange color. Head is white with tight bubbles but disapated quickly.

S: Very light but mostly lemon and straight up grains.

T: Very grainy with a bit of malty fruit. Bitter...surprisingly bitter for a wheat. Finishes very grainy.

M: Light to medium body with a prickly carbonation.

D: Pretty standard American wheat. Not very good.
