Bomber poured into Scaldis glass picked up from the brewery bottled 3/09
a-dark coppery color topped by a nice two finger khaki head that lingered for quite a while....beautiful head retention and lovely lacing
s-nice floral hop aroma with a low lying pine and grass smell..u can definitely tell it has the malt backbone to support it..
t-hops and more hops....really it starts with a nice hop punch followed by some nice bitterness..then the malt backbone kicks in followed by more hops at the end...very little alcohol in the taste at all for this high abv
m-medium feel with nice carbonation....i read elsewhere that people thought their bottles were over carbonated maybe i got lucky but it was spot on in this bottle...
d-i take my hops one bottle at a time and i havent finished this bottle yet so im not sure but at this abv i not sure id want more that one bomber in a night but this is so damn tasty..
overall this is a fantastic beer and i also had it on tap...it was a little more floral on tap but i expected that...the experience at the brewery was great...Dave and company are top notch ...cheers to a great beer
edit--im at the end of my bomber and just tried another beer and couldnt taste it..this is a hop bomb...i love it but one bomber is enough..it tops some of the better double/triple ipas out there..

22 oz 2013 bottle served in a lager glass.
The clear body looks like honey, and there are suggestions of honey in both the aroma and the flavor. The aroma, however, is dominantly and strongly floral. The flavor has some citrus and herbal notes from the hops in addition to the floral ones. A relatively low bitterness (moderate) makes this very drinkable (aged) DIPA.
The high ABV is partially hidden.
