Mandalay is a bit off the beaten path, but if you're looking for good beer on the strip, you gotta check this place out.
Got there about 7PM and it was pretty busy, but there were a few seats at the bar so took advantage of that. I didn't get food, but it all looked and smelled great. It's more a restaurant than a bar, really, so you get the typical restaurant atmosphere. Nothing wrong with that.
They had a good selection on top, I would say maybe 20 beers or so, but perhaps more. Quite a few Belgian brews, plus a bunch of solid American micro's. Something for everybody. I had a Delerium Noel and a NB 2 Below. Tons of stuff in bottles as well, and they absolutely feature Belgian stuff. Also had a few Unibroue, and of course they list Firestone 10 for $150.
Bartenders were friendly and seemed to know their stuff. Like I said, food looked awesome. Prices were ok. I paid 10 bucks for Delerium Noel but only 5.50 for the 2 Below. Can't complain.
Again, a must do if you're in Vegas and looking for a good brew...

I would not waste your time trekking to this place if you're not already staying at Mandalay. After reading some reviews about strip craft beer places, I made the effort to get here from MGM, about a mile walk, not a huge thing. Was not worth it at all. The tap list was meh. It might be better at other times, but most of it was your typical wanna be craft from familiar sources, with a couple decent brews interspersed. The best brew on the list was Dogfish 90 minute. After that, had a local IPA from Joseph James, it was so so. Last, I decided to pull from the bottle list and had Stone IPA. They a few nice beers in their cellar but unless you're cool with paying 60 for a Sucaba, you won't be touching them. The service while sitting at the bar was terrible, one bartender who was constantly pooring drinks for the wait staff and didn't give a hoot about anything else. Food could have been decent, nice burgers. After a long wait, being served a cold burger and flaming hot onion rings did it for me. Not coming back. The Pub at Monte Carlo is the much better option. This place sucks....at least when I was there. Sitting down at a table might give you better service too.

An excellent selection of beers, very well organized on the menu, both on tap and in bottles. great prices for outstanding beers. Being from the east coast, there is a wide selection of beers that I normally can't get. To top if off, the burgers are fantastic.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Burger Bar on my recent trip to Vegas and I was quite pleasantly surprised. My group went there for the food and were quite amazed with the beer selection here.
In addition to a very nice tap selection, there's a great bottle selection. My brother and I both had the 2011 Anchor Christmas ale, though they had a few other vintages available. Really, any place with multiple years of the same beer gets kudos from me.
Service was good, although we didn't really test the beer knowledge of our waiter -- this is primarily a restaurant, after all. However, if you are looking for dinner and want a place with a lot more than the regular BMC crowd, this is it. It should also be noted that prices here are quite reasonable, with respect to other places on the strip. Most of their draft beers were in the $6-7 range, versus paying $8-9 for a bottle of Corona elsewhere on the strip.
So, value, selection and great food -- definitely worth a stop.

We went to Burger Bar this afternoon for an early lunch. We walked there from MGM Grand, it's located in Mandalay Place, which is located in the mall between Mandalay Bay & Luxor. We got there right when they opened at 11AM and there was already a small line.
The service here was excellent. Our waiter was friendly, responsive and attentive. The beer selection is solid with over 100 bottles offerings and about 30 or so draft options. The drafts were divided by country and the bottles were divided by style.
I started off with a Belgian Kriek that was amazing and served in appropriate glassware. I also had an Anchor Steam with my burger and that was fresh. The burgers here are the main attraction and you can choose from angus beef, kobe beef, turkey, buffalo, lamb, etc. I went with a kobe beef burger and it was delicious. I ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly. They have an extensive selection of different toppings, so you can make your burger to your preference.
I really enjoyed this place. Check out the nice selection of brewery signs in the long hallway at the back of the restaurant. I would definitely suggest checking this place out if you are staying on the strip and like quality burgers & craft beers.

A - Vegas touristy. It's IN the Mandalay Bay
Q - All the beers there are good stuff. Mostly Belgians, with some other good stuff too.
S - Typical Vegas service - outstanding
S - The beer selection was all good stuff, but it was small. Not a lot of variety.
F - OMG. Amazing. Greatest burgers in the known universe.
V - Expensive.
