I think this is more of a "lite" beer in style.

A: Yellow-straw, slightly cloudy, white head, no retention or lace.

S: Grassy, spicy, minerally hops with a light biscuit aroma.

T: Grassy, metallic hops, decent bitterness, no malt flavour.

M: Light body is smooth (good for a 'lite'); moderate carbonation.

D: Decent for a "lite" beer.

Brewed for those tourists and locals who really don't like ale and are afraid of hops. Blonde Ales can be well done but this one is not of those. Bland , lacking hops and tasting like an average lager with ale yeast. Not worth trying so move on to the fantastic Queen Nina's IPA instead.

This effort at a crossover beer is uninspired if not outright insipid. The aroma is vaguely yeasted while drab, meaty yeasts dominate the flavor. This is followed by a vague citrus turnaround and a lamentable aftertaste. I dropped a lemon from my dinner plate in my pint of Schwag (pint of Schwag?) and it perked up a bit, but otherwise this beer is not worth pursuing. The fact that it was flat with not a thread of lace or head did nothing to help win me over.
