A red and amber color combo, 1/2" dirty white cap. relaxed and chill look.
the aroma is of light but sweet malt, rum is there but subtle, the alcohol heat tinge is just from the aroma and not actually the presence of high alcohol. At 6.8 it is medium high, but it smells like run style heat. The aroma is mostly taken from the cask it seems.
The mouth feel starts of pretty jazzy, then becomes slick, smooth and loose. Taking on a certain rum-like feel, sweet-solid body.
The flavor is mostly malty aspects, with a pretty big rum and cask flavor. Sweet, tangy-like aftertaste, much like rum and a woody, slightly smokey backdrop. Oak and woody flavor's pop out as the brew warms, the malt becomes thicker and smoother but also pretty slick. Even more like a rum than in the previous few minutes in the glass.
This is part of a unique cask-aged style three pack that came with a glass in a box for $5.99.
