12oz. bottle poured in an Innis and Gunn glass.
A- a translucent dark amber with ruby highlights. Head is fizzy and dissipates very quickly.
S- Lots of scotch ale aromas, with a defined rum note.
T- Brown sugar, some dark fruits, slightly smoky and peaty.
M- Lighter side of medium, a bit thinner than I would like, but a nice drying component to balance the sweetness.
O- Innis and Gunn may not be the best beer you ever have, but they are always tasty, complex, and certainly interesting.
