(A) Poured into an Innis and Gunn flute. Pours a clean amber brown with red hues throughout. Small bit of white head.
(S) Toasted malts, brown sugar, oak, sweetness, molasses, leather.
(T) Biscuit, toasted grains, brown sugar, wood. The rum and lingering sweetness plays in quite well. Balanced out and really good. Quite surprised. The barrel adds a decent amount of wood and butterscotch flavor.
(M) Slightly grainy, ends just above dry. Medium to light body.
(O) Quite tasty. Really enjoyed this one. Great for a cold night around the holidays. Well balanced and really good.
