11.2 oz bottle in a pint glass.
A- Copper - amber red color, 1f off-white color head that made a fast fade. No lacing.
S- Sweet malts, spiced rum. Woody and boozy. Vanilla candy.
T-Sweet creamy malts and some spice. All boozed up.
O- It's just short of "OK", as all the 2.75s indicate. Not to my liking but I acknowledge the goal.

Appreance: ok, a light yellow with a tint of orange. Poured nicely with foam, however poor lacing though well carbonated. No head after settling, all that remains is a ring of carbonation.
Smell: touch a touch of vanilla, can sense the stronger alcohol. A sight rum note mixed with butter.
Taste: OK, though picked up a bit of butter that may have resulted from the beer being light stuck in the clear bottle (horrible for a beer).
Overall: Not a beer for me. Number one NO Beer should be in a clear bottle. Plus the serving
size of the bottle only 11.2 fluid oz (330 ml). Bottle says "Oak aged beer" on bottle. Also "Beer aged with spiced rum oak chips" "carefully matured for 47 days"

Appearance: Pours a beautiful clear red or toffee color with a very frothy head. There is mild to little head retention that leaves on its wake a very noticeable lace.
Aroma: Solid spice and oak balanced by a bouquet of fruits. Maybe dried apples or apricots. The hint of rum is present but in no way overpowers the spice and malt sweetness, although it does have a bit of alcoholic warmth.
Mouthfeel: A nice delicate body and a lovely viscosity that gives the appearance of a medium bodied beer.
Flavor: A complex dance between the sweetness of the malt, the spices and toastyness in the oak chips, the esters in the fruit and the alcohol in the rum. This beer finds a Zen like balance between all flavors and allows you to sample everything together or individually as you wish.
Special Notes: This has become my second favorite beer. It truly is delightful and I highly recommend getting hold of one since it's a limited edition.

From notes. Date of Sep2013 on the back, most likely a best by date
A: Pours an amber color with a fingers worth of head that fades quite quickly
S: Very malty, with a distinct spiced rum note and some oak. Very straight forward
T: Starts off malty and sweet. This is followed by a nice, mellow spiced rum and oak flavor. Finishes clean and slightly sweet
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not sticky or sickly sweet
O: A nice dessert beer that doesn't over-do the oak aging. Just sweet enough to satisfy a sweet-tooth craving. Worth a try
