Decent sized place with an emphasis on wine and booze. Craft section is located on the left side of the store as you walk in. Coolers line the left side and the back area. For the most part this store stocks macro beer with some high level craft stuff. In the coolers were Magic Hat, Ithaca, Long Trail, Otter Creek/Wolavers, DFH, Harpoon, Sam, Trinity, Flying Dog, Schneider Weisse, Aventinus.

Many of the craft brews were represented by variety packs. I counted a variety pack for almost all beers listed above. Also to note included Corsendonck (gift pack with a glass), Ommegang (three philosphers, hennepin, abbey ale and a glass).

As I was leaving the cashier asked if he could help me find anything. I said I was looking for Thomas Hooker Liberator. He had no idea what I was talking about, but was happy to check the computer and then show me the "specialty beer" section. He mentioned he liked Hennepin and showed me the Raison D'Extra selection going for $7.29 a bottle. Damn good price if you ask me, though I left empty handed. I did notice that the place was very clean.

Mostly caters to wine and beer, but has some things if you're in a pinch.

Not a huge section for craft beer; more focused on spirits. Did have some nice selections from Crooked Stave, Maine Beer, Evil Twin as well as some pretty nice imports. Just not a lot of anything. I will say I enjoyed the vibe going on in the store. Radio playing Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies while I was in there. Staff was friendly as well.

Nice selection for it's size...always a great selection of Dogfish Head, Stone, Founders..service has been very good with the folks I've talked to knowledgable. If they didn't have what I was looking for, they offered to order it. Pretty much hits all the bases for me.

This place is right down the street, and it's been a wonderful find for me.

First, the craft section is fairly impressive for the size. They have a ton of west coast imports (including an overabundance of Stone), local brews, Founders, Ommegang, et al. Prices have been reasonable.

Second, the staff have been very helpful and friendly. They don't mind checking to see if they have anything, and even when I'm just browsing, they check up to see if there's anything specifically I'm looking for, or cannot find.

I picked up three bottles of Enjoy By in May; this was the only spot locally to have it. They routinely get Double Trouble and Hoptimum, as well, meaning you can get a pretty solid DIPA fix without going on a long distance drive.

I randomly experienced a local beer tasting two times ago, which was excellent: a Mass. brew co., and I got to try each of their brews (they weren't bad at all, for the record).

This has become my go-to shop for craft beer. They don't have the best import section, but there are a couple other local shops I can hit up if I want to stock my cellar. If I'm looking for fridge beers and IPAs, this place has me more than covered.

The crew here will always try and get whatever recommendations you have. Good Service. Ever expanding Craft Beer department is excellent. the guys and gals here have gotten in some great selections of beers and it is always constantly changing. this is the only place I will go in southeastern Connecticut to get Beer. I hope to see the Craft Beer section here get even bigger! they also have a really great facebook page that always lets me know when new things arrive in the store. I suggest anyone to go here and check it out! They also have a great selection of wines.

Located right on the Gold Star in a small shopping complex. The store is actually pretty large; most of the floor space is occupied by the hard alcohol and wine selection. The macro-brew scene is very well represented, both in the cooler doors and on the floor itself. As for craft beer, a warm selection is absent. The refrigerated space for craft beer is rather large, but the quality of selection is pretty average for the area: Harpoon, DFH, Sam's, Stoney Creek, Magic Hat, Otter Creek, etc. Even more represented are the Heineken, Corona, Guinness, Bass, etc., crowd. The "singles" section (two shelves of a cooler door) are composed mostly of 12 oz. stragglers broken loose from six packs, with a few decent additions. The 'gems' that I encountered on my visit were: Aventinus Weizen Eisbock, Chimay Blue, and Three Philosophers. The staff was somewhat pleasant, but nothing to really remember. A decent range of brews, but nothing special for the area. This isn't a store to go out of your way for.

Located in a small plaza in Groton. Checkout the map the BA provides. If you don't know the area you might miss it.

Large store with pleanty of wine and other stuff, but I went for the beer. When you walk in turn to the left and there are beer coolers along the left wall and back of the store. In the coolers there is a slection of DFH, Victory, Flying dog, Rogue, Cooperstown and the usual NewEngland Micros. In addition to this there are selection of Belgains from Unibroue, Brasserie d'Achouffe and Ommegang they also have Newport Storm 03 and Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Urbock. This selection seems to be on a rotating basis.
