Clear body was a medium copper color. Inch thick eggshell colored head faded down in about three minutes. Tiny slow rising carbonation bubbles are plentiful. lacing in rings around glass.

Aroma was a bit subdued for what i expected. Hop scents were pine like but weren't as strong as the single IPA OPA-OPA makes. A faint hint of lemon citrus.

Taste is nice and bitter. Hops show nicely and have a grapefruit quality. Pine resin clings to the taste bads after everything else fades.

Decent thickness, but not too viscous. Carbonation is a bit overpowering.

A decent brew. Would work well with a pulled pork sandwich. Worth the cost of the growler. Give it a try if you can get your hands on some.

Deep, dark orange color with a small, sticky head. One of the nicest looking colors I've seen on a beer. The rest, alas, is not up to that level. Scents of orange, soapy water, mild spices. Taste is immediately sweet, overpoweringly sweet, which is common for such a high ABV. Aftertaste is bitter, sweet, gassy. Interesting beer, and a monster at nearly 14% ABV, but the sweetness is difficult for me to get around. Citrus is more present as it warms.

Bright golden body, hint of haze, but overall good clarity, bursting with carbonation streams. Two level fingers of bright white micro bubbles.

Big clean citrus and pine aroma.

Big sweet malty foundation slathers the tongue. Juicy fruit explodes. Bitterness snaps more than bites. Piney finish.

Solid medium-plus mouthfeel.

Damn good DIPA, and this bottle is over eight months old.

Bomber > Alpine Spring bow-tie glass

A - Pours out a really nice clear yellow straw color, with two fingers of foamy white head, good lacing.
S - Aroma is interesting and mildly complex, earthy and grassy hops, bread malt, a hint of rye and pepper, some slight belgian style clove and yeast, some grapefruit and mango fruit.
T - Unfortunately the taste isnt as complex as the aroma, but its still decent, good sweet malt base, nice mango flavor with some light grassy tones, biscuit hits you mid way, sweet on the end though.
M - Sticky feel, but not sickening.
O - I like the complex aroma, flavor is decent, I'd get it on tap, but wouldnt invest in another bomber.
