From a can.
This pours a clear gold with quickly disappearing foam.
Coriander dominates the aroma followed by orange peel.
And the coriander is all over the flavor of an otherwise bland beer.

Pours hazy golden color with 2 finger width foamy head that quickly dissipates. Mild to moderate lacing on side of the glass. Orange peel aroma with hints of coriander. Taste is orange peels up from, followed by a strong coriander taste. Very mild bitterness. Slightly sour aftertaste. Good beer and very characteristic of the style.

12 oz. can poured into pilsener

L: standard yellow with beautiful effervescence filling the column and bursting up to the top to leave a light skin of white foam; pour left a 1/2-inch head or so, relatively tame, but it's really sticking and lacing on the way down; brew is cloudy but clear enough to see through

S: lightly soured grapes ... white wine; sweet and spicy ... almost a clove/all-spice winter ale spiciness; as it warms, almost get a hint of hefeweizen banana; citrusy ... lemon, slight orange, cumquat

T: white wine with hint of spice and a back-end grain bite ... it's almost farmhouse ale-like in the sourness/tartness, but not all the way, and it's got plenty of spice notes in it (clove? coriander? something sweet?) that are hard for my untutored palette to distinguish, but the cumulative result is that thing tastes a lot like a VERY tamed down version of the pumpkin ale/winter warmer spice mixes

F: love it ... it's full, feels like a midweight with enough carbonation to make it drink super easy

O: a TON of taste, all of it mixing very well. it seems like a fantastic alternative to the saison because it has a pinch more sweetness than the average, and this one I'm loving because it doesn't taste or smell over-spiced (meaning it seems a bit close to the saison).

bottom line: I love it. it's not a beer I'll drink often, but I'll definitely hit this up at least once a year.

The beer poured a slightly hazy straw yellow with a significant white head that left very little lacing. The aroma held the typical spices and fruity Belgian yeast esters that are typical of the style. The taste followed suit with the coriander and citrus notes you would expect, and they faded to a slightly bitter wheaty finish. I was really enjoying the spicy fruity start to this brew and found this witbier to be light and satisfying. The light carbonation danced on my tongue to keep me coming back for more of this refreshing brew. Definitely an ample antidote to the heat of summer.
