Dark reddish copper, mostly clear, medium white head.
Smells of caramel malt, some citrus from the hops. Smell is very prominent.
Taste is similar, tastes like it might have some Munich malts in it as well. I got it really cold so it would probably have more flavor if it was a little warmer. Mouthfeel is medium.
I guess they changed the recipe, the can I got has the abv at 6%, that’s a pretty big change from 4.8 that it used to be. Overall it’s a good amber style ale.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – As the name would suggest the beer is served a deep amber color with a one finger head of fizzy just off white foam. The head fades very fast leaving just a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a caramel and lightly toasted malt smell. Mixed with these aromas is a bit of herbal and earthy hops as well as a touch of grass.
Taste – The taste begins with a toasted malt flavor that has a moderate showing of caramel. Right from the start there is a presence of an herbal and earthy taste which grow stronger as the taste advances. Toward the end the caramel sweetness dwindles a bit and is replaced by an increase in toasted malt, leaving one with a lightly dank hopped and roasty malt taste to linger on the tongue
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is average as well. A little thicker body and carbonation level may have been slightly better for the roasted malt and danker hop taste, but all said the feel was pretty decent.
Overall – An OK amber brew overall. It is a little unbalanced and transition of the flavors, but overall it is still a decent one to try.

A: crystal clear; bronze in color; 1 finger off white head that receded to a thin cap; no lacing;
S: sweet malt and a bit of spice;
T: not much flavor up front; then sweet malt kicks in with a little caramel; a little metallic from the middle through the finish; mild bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: not loving the metallic character in the flavor;
