From notes.

A: Poured a very hazy dark golden color with a half finger of white head. Decent lacing.

S: Really not good at all. Really came across as celery. The spice really did not come across but maybe they should have drowned it out. Little bit of heff in the back.

T: Tons of wheat. You really never get the booze but it is barely held back. Again you get the heff in the back but it just never really worked.

M: A little on the thick side but nothing bad. Probably the best part of this beer.

D: I really enjoy their offerings but this was a big miss for me.

tap in the tasting room

Pours a deep hazy amber gold with a bit of white head that dissipates quickly to a lacing.

Smells of coriander and cloves with orange zest, mild clover honey and banana esters over light grassy wheat malt.

Tastes of citrus zest, honey, coriander, lemon grass and rich wheat malts. Hints of vanilla.

Medium to full body with light carbonation.

A really nice double wit, a style that I normally don't prefer to a normal wit. I don't usually feel that these flavors do well in a heavier beer. This one works, though, and is pretty enjoyable. I would love to have this again.

Was very excited to see j ryans had this on tap. I'm expecting an amped up swallow wit, but this might be better

A- pours a darkened golden orange body with shades or bright orange clashing on and off the glass. Very hazy and thick lacing on the glass that recides quickly. I can certainly say it's a unique color

S- massive spiced fruit (if that's possible) as mango, banana, and pineapple flavors are meshed with a creamy scent. You can almost tell this is quite hearty and thick from the deliverance of the scent

T- spiced mango and wheat flavor that becomes thick with flavor as it meshes. Very flavorful as it meshes together and creates a great combination of flavor. The alcohol is really hidden from all these unique flavors.

M- carbonated and soaking flavor on the pallet.

O- I will more than willing to go on record as this is one of the most fruity and spicy brews I have had that is draped in alcohol. Great spice and apricot/mango flavor that is again completely masked. There is no question the dominating wheat completes the clemency of the big alcohol of the content

Poured a dark orange with a one finger head on top of an intense citric and spicey smell along with some maltiness. A mix of a very malty beer, like caramel malt, along with some herbal hop bitterness and spiciness in a medium body. Passes smoothly while mostly containing a citric fruit taste of bananas, lemon and what seems to be a touch of grape. A very strong wheat beer that is almost undone by the ABV but is held together nicely for strong citric and sweet tastes and one to sip on is great.

Appearance: Pours an orange/amber with a decent head and a medium carbonation.

Smell: Has quite the complex aroma, from oak to fruit and a slight malt to even bubblegum.

Taste: Upfront you taste alcohol, from then on there is a fruit salad of flavors from orange to banana and the bubblegum rears its head from that hint in the scent. The sweetness mixes nicely with the wheaty malt and is quite balanced.

Mouthfeel: Syrupy slick with a nice carbonation, there is a slightly unpleasant aftertaste but it doesn't detract from its flavor.

Drinkability: While i wouldn't mind drinking quite a few of these I'm sure that high abv would sneak up on you considering its 9.5 but it goes down like a 5.

Overall: Solid brew with a nice balance of complexity.
