To begin with, I went at 4:45 on a friday afternoon, so shame on me. Filled with joe cools and midtown phonies. Not the bars fault, but dammit is it hard to order bourbon co. stout over the shoulder of some brahsef trying to troll fer trim.
Fantastic selection of diverse styles and not-what-you-see-everyday brew. Served in proper glassware and temp.
On a whole unimpressed with th staff, however the cat who helped me was nice, but too busy to talk. He knew his shit, and appreciated me having mine together, in contrast to the gentleman ordering before me, "Ok bro so I don't really give a shit about fancy beer, but am looking to get all over the place." That pretty much surmises the scene to me.
They do have some pretty growlers. They have the stock 3 dollar jugs, or collectors ask for the hand crafted german joints they have tucked away. It is in my top 3 favorites.
As far as midtown goes, it is very much a midtown scene. A damn shame all that tasty beer is getting swilled by cats who could give a shit less.
