I visited this place on a late weekday afternoon. I walked passed it the first time and had to double back and check the address. The front had cafe curtains in the windows and the place looked dark. The front door had a sign that said "appropriate dress required" and I didn't have a button down shirt nor a jacket. I peaked in and saw three me in suits and ties drinking stellas and then a man at the bar with track suit pants on. I knew I would be o.
The bar is a long wood traditional bar with lots of old beer posters on the walls. They had the taps on the back wall and quite a selection. The elusive Capt. Lawrence, Ommegang Rouge, and a selection of great Belgians and American beers lit up the tap selection. They also had a good selection of glassware to serve.
I had a Reuben sandwich which came in a little basket and was tasty but nothing special. This was truly a great beer bar with just as many interesting bottles as taps.
