look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5

Appearance: Deep, dark brown body with some ruby-hued tones and a thin, off-white head.

Smell: Sharply tart scent of raspberries overlaying a subdued dark maltiness. The chocolate component, even upon warming, doesn't develop beyond a mild note of chocolate powder.

Taste: Lightly sweet dark malts with a touch of roasted grains. Tart raspberry juice. Mild chocolate taste that arises somewhat upon warming. Very mild bitterness. Very minute tastes of roast and fruit on the dry, relatively clean finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Drinkability: A decent fruit beer, but it does leave you wanting for more raspberries and more chocolate.

Pours a deep opaque chocolaty brown with a fairly thick tan head. Tempting aroma is strongly of chocolate, with hints of raspberries, roast coffee and sweetness. Flavor is chocolaty and malty with a hint of raspberry and hops, and a sweet touch. Texture is smooth, edgy, and just a little thin.
