A seasonal ale on tap at 5 Seasons Prado. Looks great: red-amber; crystal clear with a well proportioned tan head. Head leaves the glass nicely coated and has very retention.
Rather faint aroma of sweet and light roasted malts with a trace of hops.
The flavor is typical and unexceptional.
Medium body; medium-low carbonation was soft but perhaps a tad low.

Serving type: on-tap

Appearance: Clear, reddish-hued body with a thin, off-white head.

Smell: Grainy, malty nose smelling lightly of toffee alongside a middling fruit character and distant floral hop note.

Taste: Lightly toasted grains and toffee with a hint of sweet caramelized sugars. Faint touch of fruitiness. Earthy, floral hops with a medium-low bitterness. Finishes dry with a lingering taste of toasty grains.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Drinkability: A sufficient, easy drinking Irish Red Ale.

Serving type: on-tap

Comes out of the tap a barely translucent mahogany with a fine-bubbled light tan head. Rich, malty aroma is slightly hoppy and has spicy hints. Flavor is malty and fairly hoppy, just a little bit bitter, with nutty and spicy tones. Fizzy, tingly texture is a bit rough and lively going down the hatch.
