I haven't been to this place enough to give it a fair rating but did feel like I should review just so that people know that there is, indeed, craft beer here.
Selection was quite average. Few singles, mostly dominated by mundane 6 -packs that can be found elsewhere. Have a fair selection of New England beers like Ipswich, Z Street, Otter Creek/Wolaver's and was also interested to find Berkshire growlers here as well that they take back (go for the IPA!) Had a few from the Brooklyn line. Some randoms from elsewhere like Flying Dog and one of the subpar Great Divide products. Dead Guy Ale (again, why have I found a few stores that carry this beer and nothing else from Rogue? Arggg. Must be the beer of month for that NW distributor). Of course, your Harpoon, Sam Adams, and Magic Hat which are staples. Anyway, you are not going to find much if any for Belgians here or anything in the way of imports for that matter.
I really have no idea on quality. With everything in coolers, the quick n EZ dust test is out of the window but I didn't go from beer to beer checking dates or label wear. All I can say was that my Berkshire was fresh so I give them a 4.0 there.
Service? Typical small paki. Again, I didn't give the guy an opportunity to show his knowledge but I wouldn't expect to get into much of a conversation about Magic Hat's offerings or anything like that. Second time I went in it appeared to be a college kid and he didn't know whether or not they did redemps. :shrugs:
