A--Darker of the two IPA projects we tried, the other of which was Aurora: deep orange, nearly amber. Think tequila sunrise or Arizona sunset.
S--Less citric, more gently floral. Definitely a subtler hop variety for a big style of beer. I got some deep rose and magnolia in there, along with the usual generic nectar type smells.
T--Really interesting. Hops come in waves, with first floral, then an even more glancing brush of mainly grapefruit, followed by just a ripple of earthy grassiness (that one's faint, and hard to discern--gives off a feel of some spice, too, that I couldn't quite pin down). Finish was the driest of all the beers we had.
M&D--Mouthfeel's the strongest of the beers I sampled from Sly Fox--super creamy and mellow. Drinkability is excellent given the lower ABV for the style.
A great IPA to stick with--is a session IPA an oxymoron? Dry, careful, masterful underscoring of the virtues of a great hop variety. Really pulled out its complexities without overdoing it.

An interesting IPA, enjoyed at the Smokehouse lotion. Chewy, with a bit of orange citrus . A almost there IPA. I think the IBU was 40-50 though and not the 70 as thought . Citrus colour, white white thin head and lace. And with Tthe C-hop citrus flavour was well drinkable.

Had this on tap the other night at the smokehouse. Poured a very murky cloudy bright orange color with a soapy, sudsy very white thin layer of head. A pinch of lacing sticks but mostly follows the beer down the glass. Smell is all citrus with other fruity hop aromas. Taste is very sweet with no bitter aftertaste rather the almost tart lemony citrus notes staying on the tongue. Very high carbonated leaving a sparkling type mouth feeling. Very good beer from a very underrated brewery. One of my favorite stops.
