It's pretty much a pub by the looks of it. Standard decor with the addition of some vintage bottles lining the booths.

The service is not only good but every time I have been there, which is a fair number, I have got a waitor/waitress that knew their ass from their elbows about beer. THANK THE LORD!!! They're all good common people. You could probably talk to the wait staff about almost anything because they've got a pretty diverse crew there.

Now to the beer and food, yes, Barley's has an AWESOME selection. They provide an ever changing selection of their own beers which I want to review so bad but I usually end up losing my notes or not taking any because you simply can't put a glass down while you're there. They do cask, draught, firkens, and growler service to boot. There's also a well stocked bar of bourbons, scotches, and whiskeys. A decent compliment of micro to add to their own fine roster only makes it better, including three floyds, seadog, and founders. I also love their food, it's only standard pub food but it is done so damn well. Burgers with attitude, sandwiches with originality, and thank you beer Gods a plate of sausage and cheese as an appitizer. The icing on the cake? You don't have to break the bank here, oh wait yeah you do, because you will drink your ass off. A must in Columbus.
