I randomly stopped in here with my buddy and was really surprised at the selection of this place. They had plenty of Bell's, Stone, Rogue, Three Floyds, Dogfish Head, Goose Island... I have seen better selections, but what really stuck out was the 120 Minutes IPA, 3F Alpha Kong bombers, and Bourbon County Stout. Prices of Bell's stuff seemed to be higher here than in Michigan, but that wasn't surprising. The Dogfish and 3F seemed to be about right within a dollar or so. The service left a little to be desired, but at the checkout they were polite. Quite the random find, but I am happy I stopped in.

Wasnt too entirely impressed with this Cap N Cork. Plenty of Macro stuff in coolers and on the warm shelves. The micro selection was located in the cooler and shelves as well, but the choices were pretty paltry. The selection seemed pretty average. There were standards of Bells, Three Floyds, one sixer of Founders and other really general stuff. I was hoping to find something out of the ordinary but nothing here. I guess this is good selection for Ft Wayne, but I wouldnt come here looking for special or extraordinary stuff. Prices seemed a little high as most of the micro sixers were atleast $10, and none of those were that impressive.

This one must have just squeeked by the regulations for being a "beer store" 'cause there's sure a hell of alot of crap beer here.

That said, this is a place to pick up some decent brews if you're willing to part with quite a bit of that hard earned money.

The warm single shelf is where to go here; lots of Orval and psuedo-trappists like Ommegang. No Westy, Rochefort, or even St. Bernadus. You'll likely find Rogue's Shakespeare and American Amber.

Lots of Fuller's, including the Vintage and old, old, ass 1845.

Sixers of the good stuff are ungodly expensive. Hop Ottin' = $12.99. Alpha King = $9.99.

No DFH, Stone, or well, anything worth digging for that you won't find readily around the area.

CHECK BY-BEFORE DATES. These bastards will happily sell you multiple years old beer for full price.

And the service blows, blows, blows. Beware the bald manager. Prick to the n-th degree. Don't even think about coming anywhere near close, he'll harass you.

I would avoid at all costs if I were you. Store hours are atrocious as well, generally 8am - 10 pm, even on weekends.

---EDITED MARCH 11th---

This place has really cranked up its beer selection. They've got DFH 60 and 90 now, as well as a bunch of Indiana beers. Dark Horse was another nice addition I don't see around town. This is actually a place worth stopping by if you're close now.

My only complaint is that the new beer addition isn't kept cold...the refrigeration units are filled to the brim with crap-beer, wino wine...and really ancient import and semi-micro's.
