22oz bottle received in trade from user jacksdad12109. thanks again jon! drank from my sierra nevada hop tulip glass.
A- this one pours out a translucent deep copper colored body with a finger and a half of just off-white colored head on top. the head fades faster than i would like and leaves behind small spots of lacing.
S- very hoppy smelling, but not in the typical IPA sense. herbal and floral hops lead the way. lesser amounts of grapefruit and pine follow. at the end some sweet caramel malt moves in to add some balance.
T- the taste starts out with more of the sweet caramel malts that i could smell. after that i pick up on the hops that i could smell. lots of herbal and floral hops. some pine in here as well. a little bit of grapefruit after that.
M- a solid medium body. the carbonation level is average as well. nicely bitter without being overpowering.
O- not the best IPA ive had, but not the worst either. something i would consider picking up again were it in front of me, but not something i will be actively seeking out again. thanks again for the chance to try this jon.
