On-tap at Mr. Goodbar. Spot on the style, and one that I enjoy.. Chestnut colour, above average mouthfeel, good drinkability, refreshing. The aroma was malty but also cognac-like and chestnuts. Worth seeking out, and one Icould have as a staple in the fridge. (259 characters)

Poured from a tap at the Royersford Brew Pub into a standard pint glass.

A: A lighter orangy reddish color with a nice full two finger white head. Nice lacing.

S: Sweet grainy malt tones with some nice floral hop smells.

T: Sweeter caramel malts start with some bready and biscuit flavors. Slight dark fruits poke through right before the floral hops kick in. Finish turns bitter with hops that mix back with the sweetness. This beer is wonderful. So smooth and enjoyable. A great Vienna Lager that reminds me very much of Elliott Ness from Great Lakes.

M: Creamy, smooth with a little bitter kick. No alcohol flavor.

D: Super high, these are very easy to drink and enjoy.

A great Vienna Lager that is just a treat to enjoy. Kudos again to Brian as he pumps out another quality beer. This one is nice because it doesn't kill you with hops, but is still hoppy enough to make it all work perfectly. (904 characters)

Appearance: orange in color with a 1" head that slowly falls. Some mild lacing develops.

Smell: floral hops and some sweet fruit is nice but mild overall on the nose.

Taste: caramel, and some light breadiness with some golden apple sweetness. Bitterness is light but floral. This one is a bit sweeter than expected but still very tasty.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp from start to finish. Aftertaste is short and focuses on the caramel and fruity sweetness.

Drinkability: definite session lager here. Good crossover beer for those macro lovers. Worth giving this overlooked style a try. (605 characters)

On tap at the brewpub, recommended by my excellent server.

Pours a clear light orange, almost amber, thick off white head forms, drops a ton of lacing and settles to a thick ring around the glass, looks pretty nice. Smell is nice, sweet and caramelized, very malty, lightly grainy, lots of toast and cereal, oats, light floral, very nice and clean aroma. Taste is similar, sweet at first, brown sugar and caramel, very toasty and biscuity through the middle, grainy, lots of malt, light floral and grassy hops, very clean and balanced finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with medium to high carbonation, very nice and drinkable. A real nice vienna, my favourite beer I had that day at Sly Fox. (704 characters)
