On-tap at Monk's Cafe, Philadelphia, PA
A: The beer is hazy pale light yellow in color. It poured with just some specks of bubbles on the surface and a minuscule white collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with hints of lactobacillus.
T: The taste has light amounts of creamy yogurt (from the lactobacillus) and sourness. The yogurt flavors seem to become a little stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation with bits of creaminess.
O: This beer is easy to drink and refreshing. It makes for a good selection on a summer day.
Serving type: on-tap

tap at the brewpub
Pours a very light golden with a white lacing.
Smells of light grassy malt and a hint of lactic tartness.
Flavor is of lemon citrus, lactic acid, and a bit of dry grassy malt.
Light body with a stinging carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
A pretty good berliner, a style gaining popularity rapidly. I've had a few I like better, but this one is worth a shot if you're looking to try one, it represents the style well and is very drinkable if you are good with sour tastes.
