A short walk up a flight of stairs will lead you to the Nodding Head. Right away, you a greeted by a glass case, filled with bobble heads. The space is fairly big and would work well if you are going with a larger group. All the beer served here is their own and it is good. From the Grog, an English style brown ale to an IPA or even a Berliner Weisse, they have quite a few styles covered. Food looked good and was moderately priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. Helped out with directions of the local area for us visitors. We would certainly stop by again.

Went here on 8/9 during my latest trip to Philly. This place is average at best, and i wasn't all that impressed with their beers. They had a sour wheat beer which was very blah, bu their porter did seem to be pretty good. Service was fine in regards to getting a beer, but some of the waitresses were doing shots and drinking on the job. Seemed pretty unprofessional, and the place itself did not impress me.
There are a ton of other breweries / brew pubs/ bars in Philly worth seeing over this place. Not the worst, but probably would not stop here again.
