A) Poured from a bottle into a snifter. Crystal clear light carmel color with virtually no head but the small amount of head did leave some lacing.
S) Sweet Carmel malt comes through the nose with a delicious background of hops that exhibit notes of tropical fruit and just a bit of cheese like sharpness. Smells so good!
T) Tastes much like it smells, a nice sweet malt backbone but the hops come through a lot more on the tongue. The hops start out tasting pineapple like but finish with more of a pungent flavor. The 82 IBUs make their presence known without becoming overbearing. Really tasty and complex flavor.
M) Nice feel, not too thin and a nice amount of effervescence on the tongue. Quite drinkable.
O) A solid IPA that is interesting and drinkable. This brew has a solid malt base with a surprising and enjoyable hop selection, it's flavor is complex without overstaying its welcome.

Bottle I picked up at the COOP last week.. Enjoyed tonight... Pours a fairly clear dark golden... Short lasting white head... no real retention and only spotty lacing.
Good punch of tropical hoppiness with a bit too much biscuity/lite toasty maltiness...
Good bitterness.. hops come across as melon/mango... light citrus/floral element.. again IMO there is too much biscuity malty presence.
Standard body and carbonation.. No flaws.

12 oz single from Roths Sunnyslope Market deep in snow bound S.Salem! After an epic trek through the snow to the market i think i deserved at least one beer! $1.67 Classic burnt orange coloured body to the beer with a nice frothy head..that goes fast but lace is strong. Good hoppy aromas..mainly Seville orange/marmalade.A bit of spiciness also. Taste similar to aroma..quite simple citrus hopping ,light caramel malts..again classic IPA. Mouth feel is a tad on the thin side but that’s fine for drinking. Classic IPA..this could have been brewed 20 years ago. Bit dated but fine enough.

Appearance- Pours up some head which has pretty good retention. The head is slightly off-white with hints of beige and khaki while the body is a dull pale amber that appears golden in the light. Pretty good lacing at the moment. Lacing consists mostly of ringed sheeting.
Nose- Starts off fruity and juicy. Most peach and a little bit of honey with some orange and lemon in the background. I was hoping this would be a dominant aspect but a second sniff reveals grapefruit and a ton of pine and resin. A little bit of matchstick. Some spiciness. Peach comes back with a little bit of melon. Pretty nice but I think I know what kind of IPA I'm about to drink.
Taste- Surprisingly weak but this may need some time to warm up. Splashes of peach and citrus followed by mild pine and resin. A little bit of grapefruit. Some matchstick, faint hints of earwax. Very weak fruit front with some burnt caramel and grain in the middle followed by some rather generic pine and resin. Pretty boring and average for an IPA. I was expecting more of a hop bomb but the beer is pretty subdued. This makes it pretty accessible but also a snooze. Average to slightly above average beer. No real flaws but nothing much beyond that.
Mouthfeel- Light to medium bodied with a little too much carbonation that has way too much carbonic sting. Really prevents the beer from being better than slightly above average.
Drinkability- Pretty easy going for 82 IBUs but as equally boring. Fairly standard craft beer 12 oz bottle price. Will not buy again. It's not bad but it's also not good.
Overall- Pretty much mediocre or slightly better. It's cheap enough to give it a try but you won't be missing anything if you don't.

Appearance- An amber like head with good retention, hazy whitish head.
Nose- Very fruity for a strong piney IPA. Delightful scent that is consistent with a solid IPA.
Taste - A balanced, fruity piney hop taste. A predictable but highly enjoyable IPA! Strong pines and resin (delightful).
Mouthfeel- Great carbonation and medium bodied.
Drinkability - A solid IPA at a reasonable price that I would purchase again, but it doesn't pack enough of a punch to enter the regular purchases category.
Overall - A solid IPA that will satisfy the pallets of most beer drinkers, especially fans of lighter IPAs.
