My parents live down the street from this place and always buy their wine here. It's a nice place to have close when I visit, as they have a more than decent selection (although a small one). Good amount of the usual good imports (Sam Smith, Chimay, some of the easier to find trappists, Weihenstephaner, etc...), as well as a good selection of American stuff, even some harder to find bombers. Most of the good stuff is in a cooler, which is good.
The staff is relatively friendly. Not so knowledgeable about the beer, but willing to help. It also has a nice atmosphere, with a nice wine shop feel. Again, the selection is sort of small but good.

Though the selection isn't massive it is pretty good. They have a good selection of some of the more-typical craft stuff: dogfish (including occasional releases such as Fort & Sah'tea, founders, b.o.r.i.s., etc).. The price is ok, some things a dollar more than at other places while some things are a bit less than normal. Staff was much help, retrieved a bottle for me from the back that wasn't on display yet. All around they don't have a huge selection but it's still worth checking now and then.

This is a small mom-and-pop shop with only a limited beer selection, although some of the beers that they do offer are rare and hard-to-come-by... was actually able to find a single 12oz Hitachino White bottle which "only" ran me $3.50 (which is still better than paying almost $7 bucks for a 22 oz size)... One cool thing this store does is offer "wild card" variety six-packs which they call "take 'em or leave 'em" which offer six various bottled beers for $5.00... I thought that was neat... Service is pretty good because the place is rather small... The only thing that sucked was trying to get a parking on a Saturday... this store is located on a busy street with very tight parking... otherwise I'd go back...

Having used to live in Upper Montclair, well I actually even worked next door to this place for one summer I had visited it quite frequently. It is rather hard to find a decent selection in this area, most everything served is wine, but this is the exception as it really has a pretty good range for you to choose from. Pretty much everything you would find in the North East you will find represented here. Alagash, Weyerbacher, even have seen stone occasionally. Prices are a little high, but everything in the area is so this should come as no surprise. But when you are in the area there really is no other better place to go to bring stuff home. Really friendly staff will order anything they do not have and give you a real nice discount on cases of all kinds actually, you just have to ask. Always make it a point to stop in when I drive by, a very cool store.

Although this is primarily a wine shop, they have a decent and varying selection of craft brews. Offerings from Anchor, Brooklyn, Dogfish, Flying Fish, Heavyweight, Ommegang, Rogue, Sierra Nevada, Smuttynose, Victory, Weyerbacher are available.
The store is in a great location in the center of Upper Montclair and is one of the only local places that offers more than Sam Adams, Bud and Coors. But semi-higher prices also come with the store's prime location. The staff is nice and very helpful but seem to know more about wine than beer. There is a 15% discount when you buy a case of wine.
