a quaint and cozy little shop on the corner and in a corner of a larger building across from Scitico plaze on the enfield somers border. wasnt worht the trip. had very little in the way of craft other than the mainstays like Sam Adams and Magic Hat and Harpoon. New ENgland Staples. i left in about 2 minutes. mostly wine, 3 beer coolers for all the beer, including the macros. how did this make it on here when others didnt? oh well. decent place for picking up a 12er for a party, otherwise take the the 25 minute trip north to T&C in Mass. (542 characters)

This store does not have a huge selection of craft beers, but there are enough to make it worth stopping in from time to time. They sell singles of some local beers and a few bombers. The staff is not extremely knowledgeable and it is pretty cramped. Overall not bad, if you don't have an opportunity to go to Table and Vine in West Springfield or even The Bottle Shop in Longmeadow. (386 characters)

Happened upon this shop driving across CT on 190, heading to Bradley Intl Airport and looking for some Hookers.

This shop is right on 190, at a traffic light for easy in/out access. Quite small and cramped, with a few cooler doors in the back left, at the rear of the wine rows. Good variety of micros, but the gold here was multiple sixers of Hooker APA and Octoberfest. A mish-mash of seasonal 12-packs and more hard to find items were stacked half-hazardly here and there, with little attention to organizing the store by beer/wine/liquor lines. Nonetheless, they had what I was looking for, and that's always worth something.

Did a bit of advocating when the cashier asked if these two beers were any "good". Her husband told her to bring home two sixers of "good" beer. I told her they were certainly fit the bill. However, as I walked out the door, one of her co-workers was telling her that Lowenbrau and something else would be his choices. Not sure if he was joking or not, but hopefully it all worked out in the end... (1,034 characters)
