Since this batch was made in the winter, they did not use honey from the nearby apiary.
This is much heavier than I was expecting. And the honey saturates the beer so much that I get virtually no heather tones at all. A decent drinker, but definitely too thick on the profile.

This is East End's most recent summer session brew. Tried it at a tasting in the strip.
Pours a deep honey amber gold, slightly hazy, minimal head.
The smell is of fresh, dry grassy grains with some hints of lemongrass and banana.
The flavor is mildly citrusy and honey sweet. Some of the sweetness may come from the included heather which, as the name suggests, is a principle ingredient along with the aforementioned 10 lbs of local honey. There is a bit of hop element late in the taste, but its far from bitter.
The feeling is surprisingly full, most likely due to the large amount of honey, and the carbonation is very mild.
Overall a great session brew, light and easy but still full and flavorful, a great balance between drinking a beer that doesn't taste watered down but doesn't feel too strong. Excellent summer experience.
