Good clear pale apperance with some lace, clean aroma with a hint of alcohol. Quite crisp with a light body, thin on the malt with extremely faint hops. Alcohol shows that it is there as there is not much to hind behind. Not too bad for an ice beer at $5.99 at 12-pack its a bargin.

Appearance – Typical clear yellow in color with a lot of carbonation and a big white fluffy head that went down in 10 seconds.

Smell – The sole aroma that I could pick out of the glass was pure American grain.

Taste – The creamed corn was in effect at the very first sip. They managed to hide the booze better than most of the other “ice” style of beers I’ve had and the dreaded Gummi-Bear sweetness was absent. Overall this wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Mouthfeel – The carbonation was pretty good, actually, making the beer crisp and somewhat refreshing. I’d say that it was a shade over light-bodied, too.

Drinkability – I performed this tasting over my sink, thinking that if I passed out the giant 24 ounce can would fall down in the drain where it belonged. But, all in all, this wasn’t that bad. Hell, I might even finish this blue and silver bullet.

Quaffed a few of these on the golf course recently. I guess I was drawn in by the 5.9% ABV and the price was certainly right. Pale straw in appearance. No noticeable smell. Slightly sweet in taste, not bad, but not great. Overall, not a bad macro choice on a hot day. Provided ample refreshment and booze on the golf course.

24 oz can right out of the ICE cold fridge, poured into my giant 24 oz mug. JUN 13 11 on bottom of the can. on the side of this can it also says ALE (?)

pours out a super clear golden pale yellow color with a huge billowy pure white head that actually hung around for awhile (surprise?). bits of sticky lace as well.

the aroma is rather off putting, smells oddly enough like dryer sheets, very mettallic with some cooked corn.

the taste is dominated by cooked corn, mettallic aluminum with just a hint of dryer sheet. some slight acidity and a hint of apples towards the finish.

watery light mouthfeel. a bit over carbonated, but crisp and refreshing.

it goes down very easy, but i definatly wouldnt want another...ever. tastes so similar to practically every adjunct lager.

Can't knock the appearance, seems almost vibrant gold with a pristine white head with little bubbles, although it does 86 itself pretty quickly. Fusel alcohol or just rubbing alcohol aroma and grainy cereal like corn chex aroma don't earn it much respect.

Hop aspect is almost nonexistant, as seems to be the desire in these ice adjuncts, keep that price down and the alcohol up. Did have a larger corn and malt profile than most, maybe the icing of the beer gets rid of enough water content to make an ice beer or two actually not like alcohol water. Don't get me wrong, its not like this is worth falling over, but it isn't watery at least. Lots of carbonation.

Can't help but feel like the metallic aftertase is imparted by the can. Probably still leans above average for an ice adjunct though.

The label states Ice brewed from th finest quality malted barley, selected grains and choicest hops. pours a honey bright golden hue with a large overly carbonated white head dwindles as quick as it rises. Lacing is left behind thin and scant. Aromatics smells like beer, grainy offness slightly metallics. A blend of pale malts and assorted grains ie corn and rice. Not much alcohol on the nose even thought it's an ice brew it comes out at 5.9% just under the legal limit of some of the archaic states with beer laws like WV. Flavor unremarkable but yet a horrible chemical metallic offness comes across the palate with DME sweetness after a few sips I'm certain I'm not going to finish off a whole 24oz can. I will not waste anymore vibrant liver cells on this beer, drain pour. Mouthfeel is thin watery textured with carbonation so high it makes it hard to swallow, shitty industrial beer at it's worst. Drinkability terrible.

First of all, don't listen to most people. To really appreciate any beer, you really need to have a long-term commitment.

Firstly, this is not a "premium" beer. It's economical. Think about it; a 12-pack for $5.99. TWELVE BEERS. SIX DOLLARS.

Not only is it twelve beers for six dollars, it's 5.9%!

This is the go-to beer for rednecks (at least in my area), and there is a dang good reason for this. It's cheap, it's effective (in terms of getting drunk) and it's readily available at any local gas station or convenience store. This is NOT the beer for someone who drinks beer for flavor... which I've never quite understood myself, but that's besides the point. Anyone who -really- drinks knows that beers that taste good usually come with a headache or indegestion. Milwaukees Best is what I would consider the BEST beer because it's cheap, readily available, has high alcohol percentage, and doesn't taste like pee in a can. It's very drinkable, and very economical. Good for shotguns, or for mooching bros or beer bong.

Bottom line is, the people that give this beer BAD reviews won't know what their missing until it's gone. Sure, I enjoy a "good" tasting beer occasionally... but I don't want the BEST to dissappear because a bunch of reviewers felt like talking smack about a beer that they didn't even understand. It's good, potent, and CHEAP. And it doesn't taste too bad either. I just mentioned FOUR positive things, and there is no disputing any of them. Keep this on the market, and I'll keep buying it. I only drink the BEST.

"...here we dive hysterically and hilariously into the abyss..."

Pours a very clear pale yellow with lots of bubbles and a sizzling rocky head that doesn't retain very well. Although the color sends out some danger signs, it doesn't look foul or anything.

While the smell isn't atrocious, it's clearly bad. It's artificially sweet and unappealingly corn-like, with hops bringing up the rear. There's a weird, alien element to the aroma that I can't nail down, but I know I don't like it. The only good thing about the smell is that it's fairly timid.

The looks and smell weren't exactly abhorrent, so I had some hope for this beer...until I tasted it. Milwaukee's Best Ice is made with malt and hops. This much is clear at the very front of the sip...but no love has gone into it at all. What little flavor there is completely dies out in a matter of seconds, leaving you with a metallic finish and absolutely no memory of what you just tasted. It may not be the most foul beer in the world, but it is easily one of the most forgettable and lame. It's too thin, weirdly sweet (like they used Nutrasweet in the recipe) and predictably metallic. Lacking any kind of depth. I could go on, but why bother?

Mouthfeel is atrocious, sizzling with full-on carbonation and only prolonging the experience that I want to end NOW. And I do. Down the sink it goes.

I rate the drinkability low because I couldn't even finish a glass (and there's still more in the can). It may be very drinkable if you're just looking to pound back a few and get fucked up, and if you also don't care what your beer actually tastes like. But I can't consider this drinkable in any way. This is Milwaukee's best??? I'm sure the city has something better to offer than this swill.
