Miller Genuine Draft is a decent enough macro-lager. It's a non-threatening choice for those who want a light, partytime type of beer.
MGD pours with a clean straw coloring and a thin head. The nose is slightly bitter and foul-smelling.
The taste is somewhat sour, with a bitter and biting aftertaste. There are hints of hops, and something of a cracker dryness to the body. Not very impressive. Very light in texture, the taste never develops into something interesting.
Decent enough mouthfeel. Not especially drinkable.
This is not a macro that I would really recommend, although I know a lot of people who swear by this beer. It's just a little too sharp and raw for my taste. If I'm going macro, I'm going with something smooter and more full-bodied, like a High Life or a Stroh's.
