Pours a transparent dull yellow with a little white head which disapeared un seconds.

The smell is sweet and corny. Its pretty bad but at least it's pretty subdued.

The taste is sweet and also corn like. To be fair I can taste some malts in there as well. The taste isn't great but better than the smell.

The mouth feel is light and medium carbonated.

Overall smells terrible but tastes a little better, not that bad if you're looking for a cheap party beer othetwise I'd skip this.

Drank straight from the bottle. A dehydrate urine type of yellow, Standard of most Adjunct Lagers so nothing special going on there. There isn't very much to say about the smell either, Smells of some corn and perhaps some barley here and there. The taste is where this AAL surprised me. Easily the best offering from the Miller company that I have had to date, Perhaps slightly beating High Life. It doesn't just taste of carbonated water like most other standard AAL's and it is very easy to drink. Mouthfeel has some bubbles and a cooked corn aftertaste, Though sweet corn. Over all a great AAL

Offered a can of this and considered it worth the tick.

A - Well it's darker than I expected but still very "piss" like in color. Head surprised me a bit sticking around for a few minutes before reducing to nothing. Bubbly carbonation.

S - Smell is as expected for an adjunct lager. Corn being the only notable smell next to some sweet malts. As expected no hops in the smell, just corn...

T - Well it wasn't as bad as I thought (how many people have posted that?) Amway you do get acres of corn, lager yeasts and well... water. I swear halfway through the beer just tasted like water which I am sure if you slam them like water it's good for you but it didn't impress me a whole lot. This beer needs triple hopped :P

M - Well I don't post this much but this beer is thin and watery, so not that great.

Overall I guess I have found a very lackluster beer even for an adjunct lager. Giving this more than an average score is like calling yourself an alcoholic.

look: 3.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 3 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5

Appearance - Pours a clear golden color with almost no head.. Barely any lacing present either.

Smell - Strong scent of corn. Has a nice sweetness to it and seems very malty.

Taste - Identical to the smell. The malt tastes very good.. Corn is the strongest flavor. It's quite sweet and the hops are mild. It does have a slight metallic flavor.

Mouthfeel - Light in body with high carbonation. It's very crisp.

Overall - This is better than I thought it was going to be. It's very drinkable, but nothing special.

I am starting to appreciate this beer.

It is a simple, basic beer. Easy to drink and goes great with any type of food.

On a 95 degree day, served ice cold it really hits the spot.

For a back yard BBQ beer, it is perfect.

So why all the haters?

Nothing wrong with enjoying a beer for what it is.

High Life is cheaper, and a better value, but MGD is still very enjoyable.

Pours a clean pale yellow color with a white head. In the aroma, a small sweetness and a small skunkiness. In the taste, a small sweetness in the malt and then nothing. A small bite and a lighter bodied mouthfeel, with a small dry to sweetness in the aftertaste. Watery and a sweetness and really not much going on.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass. No explanation needed.

Appearance – Clear golden color with a flimsy white head that quickly dissipates leaving no lacing. No suprises.

Smell – Corn, a little barley, tin?

Taste – For an adjunct lager, a frat beer, a regular old American beer, MGD really isn’t that bad. Corn, a hint of hop, a little malt for body.

Mouthfeel – Highly carbonated, light body, no finish taste

Overall – Not a bad brew for what its’ worth. I try not to be a beer snob. Is this beer bad compared to what else is out there? Yes. But relatively speaking, its’ drinakable. I Would buy it again and drink it again. Its’ a good change of pace from Bud Diesel and Coors, and a hell of a lot better than its’ lite counterpart.
