There is not much quality to Miller Lite, but it is a mass quantity beer for the general population. It is has a real light taste, goes down smooth, and leaves a dry aftertaste. It has light head and is quite foamy depending on the carbonation levels and how it is served (glass, bottle, or tap). It has a low to average alcohol (abv) content of 4.17-4.20%.

One positive note is that when drinking Miller Lite, I have never got bloated, and it makes it good for things like barbecues and parties where food is being served. Another positive note about Miller Lite is the pour technology, which reduces head and foam.

There are not much positives when it comes to Miller Lite. In terms of taste it goes down smooth and quick. The problem for ML is that when put in a competition with Bud Lite or Coors Lite it will lose every time. In terms of price, you can get much more satisfying products for either equal to or lesser of a price.

If Miller priced this the same as Natural Lite it would clearly be the winner. But since it's priced the same as Bud Light, I don't think Lite will win anything. Really not a bad beer if your aim is to keep the number of beers you drink at a sitting to well under a six pack.

During NFL Sundays, when I need to keep my drinking on a leash, I will drink Miller lite...sometimes. When it's compared to the other major US brewers, Miller is a work of art. It's total shit, but at least there is some taste of beer- you don't give that with Coors or Bud.

12 oz. Limited Edition Can.

A: Pours a pale crystal clear yellow. Carbonated bone white head. A little lacing
at first, nothing after and the retention is terrible.

S: Clean. Cool. Cereal grains. Light and I mean lite floral nose. Malty sweet.

T/M: Light sweet grains. Small tingle of hops, or is that the carbonation? Clean
finish with a lingering of grains. Goes down easy and clean. Not much else.

O: Bad. But easily the best of the big three. (Bud light, Coors light, Miller lite)

Cheers

Had to bad mouth beer from my home state but I have to. I'd like to consider price vs tastes got "cheap" beers but it's not even that cheap. Little head. Does not go down smooth at all. Could not drink fast. Real light appearance. Hard to drink ice cold, as it warms even worse. Many, MANY beers that I'd suggest from Wisconsin first. The smell honestly makes it hard to drink to.

Purchased 24 ounce can and poured into a pint glass.

Pour: filled glass midway and left a 2'' foam head dissipating to about a quarter inch.
Appearance: Light gold, very transparent. Can see clearly through the pint glass.
Smell: Corn, light smell of a freshly mowed lawn.
Taste: Didnt taste too much, but perhaps a light hint of grain.
Mouthfeel: Tastes like club soda, leaving a carbonated feel far back.
Overall: If you like beer, and are not too interested in calories or flavor, this ones for you.

Miller Lite is brewed by Miller. Been around since 1975. One of the first light Beers on the market. Now, first off, they can't even spell Light right, so you all know how this is going to turn out. Pours out a Light Amber Color. The Smell is that of an american style light beer. The taste is nothing special it is light almost like water. Nothing bad, but nothing good. Overall, I give this a 3- not good ,but not bad. I may get this brew to switch it up from the Budweiser products every once in awhile.

Pours from the classic "Limited Edition Original" pint can a faint, light, yellowy water. Sudsy white head and some spotty. loopy lace.

Nose is the familiar adjunct grains and mild skunkiness. I get corn (syrup?) and barley malts.

Taste is, as a German-born acquaintance once said (of mainstream American lagers), like "beer-flavored water". Taste is very faint, with sweet malts making their presence known at the finish.

This is about as mild and devoid of character as any beer I've ever had. Not a terrible flavor, but considering there really ISN'T any flavor, that's not saying much.

Not worth the $1 I spent on the retro pint can.

Yellow and fizzy.. a head that sticks around with a little ring.. the smell is corn pale malt even a slight hop.. the taste falls as u get mostly corn some malt but strange bitterness like a fake chemical hop.. the mouthful is thin but good for the style.. why do u wanna drink light beer?? Poured from 12oz can into 16oz glass mug.

Appearance: Clear, pale straw color with a large white head that dissipates quickly and leaves behind a little bit of spotty lace.

Smell: Sweet pale malt with a touch of grassiness.

Taste: Begins sweet and stays that way throughout. There is more hoppiness evident than most light beers, but that really is not saying much. There's a slight metallic flavor in the finish that detracts a bit.

Mouthfeel: Thin and fairly heavily carbonated, with a watery finish.

Overall: This is not really a good beer, and I doubt that comes to a shock to anybody. Still, out of the big three of light beers, it is probably the best. Not something I have regularly, but a good standby for drinking lots of beer with groups of friends.

This beer is terrible, I will throw it in the same barrel as keystone. I wouldn't imagine that any beer enthusiasts would ever recommend this trash. This beer is made for kids to chug without having to think about taste. I can only hope that craft brewers will continue their uprise so that support of these gross mass produced beers will stop someday.

Since I collect cans and breweriana I wanted to get the "new" Retro can for my collection.

A - Pours out a nice light straw color with a big head that dissipates quickly and leaves no trace.

S - Almost non-existent but what little there is consists of adjuncts; no hint of malt or hops.

T - You'd have to have some to rate it. The best thing I can say it that it doesn't taste bad since it has no taste.

M - Almost flat carbonated water.

O - Watery and tasteless. Yep, the stuff is as bad as I remember it was even back in the 80s.

Picked up a case of the new "classic" cans because they look awesome.

Light straw color with no head or lacing. Smell? what smell?

In spite of that, I think this is one of the best 'cheap' beers that you can get. I'd much rather take this over a Bud or Coors. Either way, I'm pretty desperate to be drinking this beer in the first place.

Mass-produced swill, but it'll get the job done.

Smell - It has the usual adjunct smell to it.

Taste - Not much in the way of taste, but it doesn't have a weird aftertaste like some AAL.

Mouthfeel - Light beer, with decent carbonation.

Overall - Its not the best AAL.

This is my "cheap go to" beer. Nothing outstanding, but the taste is just fine. Much better than Bud products. Those tend to give me a headache after a single beer. Miller isn't something you drink just one of and feel satiated, but you drink a handful to get the end result.

When you rate this beer you have to compare it to other lite beers. That being said, it has more color than a bud or coors and many others, and has more flavor and a stronger smell than many lite beers. Whether one likes it or not is subjective. Yeah, it probably does taste like water after you've had a few. That's usually the case with ANY light beer. You don't drink a lite beer like wine and sip it for an hour. Most people I know who drink any light beer aren't looking for spectacular taste or want to sit and analyze the flavor sip by sip. They want cold, refreshing alcohol that won't fill them up, and usually its only the first sip of a light beer that I've ever heard, " damn that's good". This is basically that, drink it before it gets warm, don't expect a lot of impressive flavor. It's a straight up beer. Few people crave salads, they don't offer excessive and awesome flavor, but its something to eat. Few people crave light beer, but its a beer to drink.

Yellow golden color with a thin fluffy head with low retention.
Unpleasant aroma of corn and some bread with butter.
Sweet flavor of corn with light hints of floral and herbal hops. Quite metallic with some Diacetyl.
Light to watery body with good carbonation.
Not a good example of this questionable style, being not even that refreshing.

I laugh at 90% of these reviews who think they know beer. This is the American light lager beer catagory. I actually prefer this brand over the others bud, coors, etc.
It has the best corn smell and has more hops Like I remember back in the 70's

Without all the drama a solid 3.5

Cheers

Pours a pale yellow with over a finger of fluffy white head. The nose is mild but there are hints of wheat present; it is one of the few AALs that does not smell downright bad. As expected, the flavor is light and thin with a mildly sweet corn flavor. The finish is downright bland - "triple hopped" must mean that they use three hop cones for the whole batch.

I keep a regular stock of this on hand for friends who do not like craft and I thought it was high time to do a full review. As a bonus, this offering is proudly union-made by UAW workers.

12 oz. bottle, with best by date December 16, 2013 printed on the bottleneck. Ah yes, at long last I have come here to review the all too familiar Miller Lite, and to finally put it to rest.

Poured into a Miller Lite pint glass, for the sake of proper glassware.

A - Pours about two fingers of fizzy bone white foam that dissipates to a filmy ring quickly. Body is a sickly pale straw yellow with excellent clarity and lots of bubbles rushing topside.

S - Smell is of corn, grain, trace pilsner malts, and wet paper / cardboard.

T - I think I am basically immune to the taste of this swill after consuming countless cans in a drunken stupor, but it basically follows in vain of the nose: soggy grain, trace pilsner malts, GMO corn, and wet paperboard. Commendable for is quality control and high drinkability.

M - Feel is crisp and clean. Smooth. Like water.

Overall, it is what it is. It's a can (or a bottle in this case) of adjunct swill like all the others, but of all of the horrible choices put before us by the giant beer conglomerates, I would without hesitation choose Miller Lite over a Bud Light any day.

Poured from a football textured 24oz can into a glass mug. First time tasting it.

A- A nice clear yellow color. Lots of bubbles streaming up. A finger of head that dissipates into a thin frothy ring. Leaves a good amount of lacing.

S- Very faint corn smell. Maybe a tiny hops. Water. Not offensive

T- Fresh clean watery taste. Water, Corn, Hops, slight metallic taste. Not much malts. Not offensive. A nice light grassy aftertaste.

M- Highly carbonated. Crisp. The bubbles tickle the mouth. Refreshing.

Drinkability- Very smooth and goes down easy. Awesome drinkability.

O- Overall, I think this is an awesomely refreshing light beer for a hot day.
It really quenches the thirst without any bad off tastes. Way better than most other light beers.

I can't express how bad and how much I do not like this beer.

Many would compare it to water.

But that is inaccurate, water is delicious.

This stuff makes me gag, a horrible flavor that

I do not usually like light beers except Bud light lime and maybe bud light platinum when I want to feel it and quench my thirst at the same time. I love miller lite and hate all other light beers including plain bud light. Miller lite is watery but refreshing on a hot day, the other beers are watery and taste nasty. I am a dark beer fan but I gotta say, miller saves the day when I'm broke, it's hot, and I want beer.
