Poured from a 24 ounce tallboy into a half-liter beer glass.
Appearance: Pale golden color, not very appealing. Thin, foamy head which left moderate lacing as the head receded. Active carbonation in the glass. Looks okay.
Smell: Gentle dirty hop aroma accented with a rice or corn vibe. Leaning towards the former. Maybe just a touch of an apple scent as well.
Taste: Where? It's really not there. A touch of rice with barely any hop flavor. However, the fact that it doesn't taste "bad" is saving it from an awful rating.
Mouthfeel: Highly carbonated, it never really mellows down. The fizz is almost uncomfortable and makes you want to swallow the beer as quickly as possible.
Drinkability: You can drink it...but it's not necessary. Even as far as "light" beers go, this one is pretty rough.
The first "light" beer to go pro, and it shows. No innovation since it was first introduced, I'm sure. Eh, oh well.
