Miller Lite is much less malty than Bud Light and Coors Light. It is very light bodied, but certainly has flavor. At 96 calories, Lite is a good option for people on a diet, much like Michelob Ultra, at 95 calories. In fact, Miller Lite could certainly advertise as a diet beer like Ultra does. There is some bitterness to Miller Lite, and it tastes like some good quality hops are used. I would recommend drinking Miller Lite from a bottle.

Serving Type: Bottle poured into a pilsener.
Appearance: Poured clear pale yellow. About 1 finger of white frothy foam that was gone after about 1 minute leaving no lacing. There was some carbonation bubbles that gave it a better appearance.
Smell: Wet grains and a slightly floral hop aroma.
Taste: Not a whole lot to taste. Slight hop bitterness with the balance being more to the hops than to the malt.
Mouth Feel: Thin and light with a slight bite on the tongue.
Overall: The old advertisements said "Tastes great, less filling". It pretty much tastes like any other light beer. as for the less filling...I don't want more than a couple of these at any one time anyway. It is a light beer and that's it.

Drunk straight from the can.
Can't say much about the appearance as I didn't pour it out of the can but from having it before, it's just your typical light straw yellow.
From what I can smell, it is quite grainy and corny and somewhat metallic.
Flavor is grainier than other light beers but also full of corn. There are really no hops to speak of and just a chalky dryness at the finish that is not too enjoyable.
Overall a pretty typical light lager. Better than Bud Light but far from the best in the style.
