Wow, what a watery beer. I have to admit, if they were going for minimalist art, this beer would be ranked much higher. I am having a hard time deciphering a flavor other than sugar, and I guess corn. I agree, triple hops brewed must mean 3 hop pellets for every batch. Aside from the kick I get with the fizzy bubbles, I think I'd rather have water.

Appearance: Pours a light golden straw color with a dismal ring of a head and leaves behind just a light dusting of a lacing.

Smell: The nose is a faint aroma of grains and corn

Taste: Tastes of light corn, and rice with hints of grain basically a carbon copy of the nose with a very watered down feel to it. For a triple hopped brew i'm wondering if that means they dropped three hops in the giant fermentor.

Mouthfeel: Such a light bodied brew has a little bit of fiz as it dissapears without a trace.

Drinkability: As easy to drink as water but not recommended for hydration.

Overall: Hot summer days this light bodied brew is a good choice for an adjunct if on a tight budget.

It would be hard to review this like any other micro or import for that matter, because it's like comparing boxed wine to something from Murphy Goode. Long story short is that Miller Lite is the best of all three of the mass-lights. Bigger taste if you can say that, better color, if more yellow is a color, and more drinkability because you actually feel like you have drank a beer after finishing one. My go-to tall boy can at a Raiders game.

Not a bad Light Lager, and has been my go-to tailgater in the category for years.

Appearance is average, with 1F white bubbly head dropping to thinnest of film, over a very clear yellow body.

Bit of a musty/earthy smell, with a wee touch o' the 3 hop buds that were tossed into in this batch.

Some urinal cake (um, no, haven't actually partaken in one before) followed by white bread, rice, and water - not a bad prison beer.

Mouthfeel is consistently good - not too sharp, not too soft. Speculate that this is the primary reason why BAs usually lean to ML over BL or CL.

Solid on the drinkability meter... sorry Bud Light, but Miller Lite's flavor and mouthfeel crush you on this one. Good ads though.

Here is what I can say about Miller Lite:

This is one of those beers that is mass produced for general comsuption. It has a very light golden color.

There is no smell to this beer, nor' is there no taste in this beer at all, which is due to it being produced for general comsuption. It looks exactly like Coors Light and Bud Light.

But if you want a beer for general comsuption, then go with this beer.

OK, I have got to give it to this beer. It has its place. Most people who look at reviews like this do not like this beer, or at least do not admit they like this beer. This beer is made for heavy consumption. You can drink it literally all day, such as a trip to the beach with your old college buddies. No reason to talk about the way it tastes, if you are reading this, you have had it. Just remember, you can say what you want, but I bet you will have it again. Not a bad beer. It could be Coors light, bud light, etc. It is the best of all those like it.

Poured 12oz bottle into pint glass. Poured a clear pale straw color. 2 finger white head, stayed together for a good bit. Smell was watery and grainy, not good at all. Taste was water down, light grain, corn adjunct flavoring, cheap aftertaste. Very light mouthfeel with high carbonation, its a yellow fizzy beer. Drinkable for a light beer, but i won't buy any of this with my own money ever again...maybe if its given to me.

A: Pours the lightest of the light, transparent straw color that produces a tiny head with no lacing along the glass...(I can't believe I have to wash a pint glass after drinking this).

S: The nose is very metallic, grainy, and watery, no hops, definitely no malts.

T: Copy of the nose, very watered down, light grains, no hop or malt aroma or flavor. Just cereal and fillers.

MF/D: Lightest body possible, fizzy carbonation, but pretty drinkable if your trying to get hammered for little $

Notes: I know this is not the highest rated beer, but as Jim Koch said (verbatim) that it is hard to brew a beer of this style, because the slightest miscalculation in the recipe will result in a botched batch.

[Appearance]: Very pale straw color, clear, lots of carbonation, soapy head that disappear really quick. Looks like a typical Adjunct Lager.
[Smell]: Roasted corn aroma, hint of skunky.
[Taste]: Corn, maybe some little grainy from the malts, I could detect some slight of bitterness from the hops. Has a weird aftertaste that lingers in my mouth.
[Mouthfeel]: Light bodied, carbonation is pretty strong.
[Drinkability]: I couldn't drink the rest.

I'm surprise they call this a "True Pilsner", more like "True Adjunct Piss".

12 oz can poured into an Ithaca Beer Co pint glass

A - pours crystal clear very pale yellow with a wisp of head.

S - skunkiness? It just smells like a bad beer would smell - how do I describe that?

T - bleh. I swear I taste the corn adjunct. There is almost no taste at all, except for a weird aftertaste. There are no hops whatsoever, much less "triple hops". It loses points for false advertising.

M - You know when you are sick and you are able to stifle a vomit by holding it in your mouth? That is what this beer feels like in your mouth. I may as well just vomit now, before I swallow it.

D - as soon as I take a sip of this beer, I feel my head start throbbing, knowing that I'll have a hangover tomorrow. Eat crap, Miller Lite.

In honor of the Angry Video Game Nerd - Rather than drinking this beer, I'd rather have a buffalo take a diarreah dump in my ear. I rather eat the rotten asshole of a roadkill skunk and down it with (another) beer.

From the can during a round of golf, but I know all too well what this beer looks and smells like. Lets be honest, its not a grate beer - far from it. Pale yellow colored with no body, corny bland smell. Super watery and lacking much taste. Smooth in the mouthfeel, certainly goes down easy. Drinkable from the can, as long as the can is still cold. Once this warms up a few degrees, pitch it, its like drinking stale water.

From a 12 oz

Pours a light clear grain yellow. Minimal white head.

Smells like barley and sweet corn malts.

Taste is very light, barley and corn adjuncts. Of note: one of the only light beers I've had that at least still tastes like beer.

Thin and a bit watery with cheap carbonation.

Well, its a light beer. What do you expect? This is the best macro light in my opinion. Easy to session if its all you've got.

A - crisp and clear...pale gold...one-finger head that dissipates very quickly...leaves a thin cap and has a bit of lacing, though not much

S - some sweet corn...a bit metallic

T - not much...does have a slight corn and malt flavor...not much, but it isn't

M - watery (go figure)...very high levels of carbonation...dry finish

D - of all the macro light lagers, this one is probably near the top...definitely a favorite when at the softball field

Appearance: Light light yellow.

Smell: Smells like straw and beer. Generic beer smell associated with light American lagers.

Taste: Not much going on here. I can drink these given I'm at a party playing flippy cup, or there is no other option given. It has a distinct taste, compared to other light American lagers. It is uniquely Miller's flavor. Probably the corn.

Mouthfeel: Somewhere between a regular and a diet soda. Can actually be quite refreshing on a hot day, again, given there isn't an alternative. I'd go for a Sierra Nevada Summerfest lager.

Drinkability: Again, quite good. These are easy to drink beers either by the can, bottle, tap or pitcher. This is assuming you can get past the taste.

Overall, this is the probably the beer that gives beer a bad rep. Many would suggest this beer looks, smells and tastes like piss water... It's not quite that bad.

I'll drink these in group settings, say with a pitcher. That's about all it's good for.

Well, this is graded apples to apples since it is a domestic light. Many do not grade that way, but I do. This beer pours a light golden color in a pilsner glass with average head. The smell is a bit dull. It has smell, but nothing interesting. The taste is a little salty. Not smooth and I would not drink this beer for mass consumption compared to other lights I have drank. Has a little after taste.

Verdict: Drink another light beer.

Looks like your standard light lager: pale yellow, no head, little lacing. Smells like light beer with a lot of corn.

The taste is at first light and inoffensive, almost like a lemony tea, but quickly turns metallic. Can't taste much grain in there to be honest. Finishes very dry. Aftertaste is like licking the can, pure metal. Luckily it doesn't last long. Mouthfeel is watery and very carbonated.

The drinkability is about average if you can stand the taste. Not the worst-tasting beer I've had (that honor goes to the flavorless Natty Light), but certainly near the bottom.

This is one of the few times that I have tried this beer. The first few times the taste seemed to repulse me but today it had some what of a more welcoming taste.

A- Color was present but not great. Something to expect from a light beer.

S- Smelled like a cheap beer. Nothing really jumps out.

T- Not over powering, maybe a little on the watery end. Isn't harsh on the palette. Again nothing jumps out. Good to drink while doing some form of activity, in my case fishing.

M- Light carbonation, not very thick.

D- Easy to drink. No harsh after taste and light carbonation make this an easy beer to enjoy when looking for something to drink and not to satisfy a craving.

This is one of my favorite beers. Sure it's a macro so it's not exceptional but is definitely my choice to take fishing or tailgating. Of course there is better beer, but for an American lager it's one of the elites. Much better than Bud Light and the silver bullet.

Pours a golden color with visible carbonation, and little head. The aroma is well missing. Nothing but a musty water smell. The taste is of a slight hop bitterness yet with a bite of skunky beer to it. The mouthfeel is okay not overly carbonated. The drinkability is low, you could have one or two and no more. It is a simplistic beer, instead of triple hop brewing their one hop they could add some citrus notes or some other more flavorful hops.

This is the epitome of piss beer. I absolutely hate it. It is terrible from bottles, cans, and kegs. While it is a part of many good memories I wish I could forget this beer. It is cheap for a reason. I won't even call it drinkable because I hate it so much.

A- More colour than you would expect - probably due to the carmel colouring it undoubtedly contains. Looks like a decent beer.

S- Dosn't smell. Just enough smell to tell it's a beer and not a club soda.

T- If you are out doors, skateboarding or mowing the lawn or enjoying another activity that would mellow you enough and not allow room to contemplate what you are drinking, it's tolerable. Much like a club soda with a bit of skunked light beer added. Horrible with food. To try and pair this with food would be futile. Tastes of watery must.

M- Club soda.

D- Decent if your mindless. But why would you want to get drunk on something like this?

Good before 10-05-09 per the bottom of the can.

Pours a clear, rich brass with a 1/2 inch bright white pancake bubbled head. Head retention is low, leaving a slight hazy of head after about 5 minutes in my pint glass.

Smells of light grains, a touch of bakers yeast and super mild earthy hops. Rather simple nose...

A sea of bubbles hits my palate at first. After a couple seconds I get the grain, corn and yeast combination in the middle and finishes quickly leaving a mildly hoppy aftertaste.

Light bodied with a lingering grainy aftertaste in my mouth.

A- Similar to the adjunct lagers--straw colored with some decent head on this one (the result of the most forceful pour ever).

S- Doesn't smell so good--some corn, some bread, some skunk (this one isn't skunked though--I think it's just supposed to be this way...).

T- Oh yes, triple hop brewed... light malt--not too bad. Little or no hops to speak of.

M- Soda, goddammit I want more.

D- Good for getting drunk. Honestly, though, not bad for BBQ/summertime.

A- Very light and pale in color

Smell- Aroma similar to most macros, no hop aroma (must be triple hoped brewed with left over hops)

T- Combination of water and urine

M- Light-bodied, highly carbonated, better than other light macros

Drinkability- Highly drinkable, too bad that's not the only thing I'm concerned about in my beer

I prefer this over CoorsLight and BudLight, but I'd rather drink a non-light beer any day

Pours very pale yellow with a white foamy head that is gone soon to a skim. No lacing.

Light (Lite!) sour beer aromas with a boiled grain/corn element. No skunk, but not alot that is enticing.

Thin, very watery, with some fair hop bitterness and boiled corn. Good luck finding much else. Finshes clean, as water usually does, on the palate.

Light, decently carbonated, and quenching for the desert dweller.

Overall, I was handed this shit at a family party and had to choke it down. No off flavors, but that's because there aren't any flavors. Why even bother? I see people buy this stuff by the case(S), and it just flat out baffles me.
