Miller High Life is often referred to as the working mans beer. It is a product that has been around for a long time and it has an image and low price that make it appealing to the blue collar crowd.
As for the beer itself, it is sweetish in taste with light grains and adjuncts dominating the flavor and only a dash of hops in the finish. The overall taste is on the weak side and it doesnt leave a very lasting impression. It does manage to hold its foam a little longer than other beers of its style but its aroma, taste, body, and finish are all typical of a mass produced product.
Miller High Life is crisp and bubbly; hence the nickname as the champagne of beers. But dont get carried away with this name- High Life is pretty ordinary and bland overall. It is very inexpensive and this alone will continue to result in steady sales year after year. But the taste is very plain and unexciting- the type of beer you reach for when you need some crisp refreshment but dont want anything full- bodied.

Pours a clear golden straw color with some white head that dissipates in an instant. The nose has little more than the standard AAL scent. The flavor has that typical crony sweetness to it but the sweet notes are not as heavy as the average AAL. The finish has lingering sweetness that makes one want to keep sipping.
As a bonus, this offering is proudly union-made by UAW workers.
