It sure pours pretty and clean!
Crystal clear moderately pale golden liquid topped with a full 1-1/2 inches of white foam being constantly fed by the medium sized bubbles rising to the top.
Head melts quickly, however, leaving only a faint, sparce map and a tiny white ring of medium to large bubbles.
Aroma is definitely American adjunct style with hints of sweetness and corn. Virtually no hops assault the nose.
Taste is slightly sweet..not near as sweet as MGD, but still too sweet to let any hops that 'might be' present to show their flavors.
Not a thin beer at all, High Life has sufficient body to let you know that even after a couple you are still drinking beer and not flavored water or iced tea.
Crisp and clean corn flavored American Adjunct Lager taste makes more a wonderful lawn mower brew on a hot summer day.
Drink this one ice cold. Let it warm and the corn really takes over making it bland and not refreshing at all.
Pros: Bright and sparkling in the glass with nothing offensive to the nose or pallette. Just clean, refreshing 'beer'. No aftertaste to speak of which is nice since many...(read 'most') of this style become cloying and nasty sweet after a few.
Cons: No hops to challenge or give any dimension or complexity to the beer. Clear bottle I would suspect would make this beer susceptible to skunking which would make it totally undrinkable.
Carbonation is a little weak and the refreshment could be improved with more tiny bubbles rising to the top to maintain it's head.
Bottom line is like this beer for what it is on a summer's day.
Pabst has more hops presence and MGD has more malt. Miller High Life is just about in the middle of these two making it easier to drink more than one and cooling off the day.

32oz can into a pilsner
A - An unimpressive, yet crystal clear straw yellow. Quickly dissipating tall head. This beer laces all the way up a 20oz pilsner glass.
S - Smells beerish and sweet.
T - Oh wow. Never noticed when I was in my 20s, but YUP, corn. A bit of pilsner malt. Sweet.
M - Very ebullient and thick sweetness.
O - If I've been mowing on Sunday (good beer is only had in liquor stores here and they aren't open on Sunday) this is my go-to. It's really not horrible, but there's just no comparison to a good helles. If someone told me there were hops used in this beer, I may or may not believe them.
