Pale and clear with a bony head that flares up initially but settles down, fairly sticky while it lasts. I've always like the over-the-top marketing campaign for High Life, and it truly is the Champagne of Adjunct American Lagers.
Smell is mild grassy and unsalted butter popcorn. A bit of lemony hops and mineral essence prevail. This is a hugely refreshing beer, a great substitute for water and I don't mean that in a negative way.
MHL is such a huge improvement over Tecate and likely much better than PBR and probably every macro AAJ. A simple complement to battered fish that has its place, keeps its price and knows its role. The gentlemans choice.

32oz can into a pilsner
A - An unimpressive, yet crystal clear straw yellow. Quickly dissipating tall head. This beer laces all the way up a 20oz pilsner glass.
S - Smells beerish and sweet.
T - Oh wow. Never noticed when I was in my 20s, but YUP, corn. A bit of pilsner malt. Sweet.
M - Very ebullient and thick sweetness.
O - If I've been mowing on Sunday (good beer is only had in liquor stores here and they aren't open on Sunday) this is my go-to. It's really not horrible, but there's just no comparison to a good helles. If someone told me there were hops used in this beer, I may or may not believe them.
